Lovely place of learning, recommend
I love the University of Liverpool so much. The architecture is just amazing and the University is really scenic.
Great facilities, but not much to comment on due to limited campus experience during the pandemic.
Excellent. Staff are great. It is close to campus but wifi can be a bit dodgy.
Safe and vibrant. The online courses is quite helpful. The lecturers are also helpful.
The University has been incredibly supportive in these a little harder months, regarding the pandemic situation. Feel supported and the facilities that we have been able to use are incredible. So happy I chose UoL.
excellent for everything, what I expected and more
The University of Liverpool offers the best in research, teaching, and possible future employability.
Good University and amazing facilities.
The place to be the university is amazing
It's hard to judge all the facilities this year as I haven't been able to use them due to covid. But any time I've emailed anyone with a question it has been answered straight away. For the few short days I was on campus, it was a lovely campus and very friendly.
The University of Liverpool is, in my opinion, one of the very best universities for healthcare courses - if not the best! I can only speak for HLS courses, but I can still say that the facilities (i.e. library, campus in general) are great! It is a beautiful campus & is not separated from the city - it has a bit of everything for everyone! Lovely city, nice museums, great Victorian buildings, together with extremely high quality university departments E.g. dental school and hospital. The new virtual learning environment (Canvas) is probably the best of any university and it’s so much better than the old VLE, Blackboard. The university is extremely organised (e.g. timetable, course structure) and the senior tutors, experts in their field, truly get involved in teaching students, rather than mainly carrying out research. I believe that this university is very underrated (perhaps due to the lower leagues table position), but prospective students should look at the amazing NSS results!
nice environment Good reaction Love studio room
The university staffs are helpful and it is easy to navigate around the school. There are many clubs and societies to join and make friends easily. The campus has two libraries which cater to different courses and it is an easy access.
Great place to live in pool thank
Staff are great and super helpful. Plenty of events on campus to keep you occupied. Main campus 5 min walk from city centre.
Currently studying here and genuinely think it's been a wonderful experience so far, would definitely recommend to anyone looking.
Coped with COVID-19 response badly, as an international student who booked accomodation and had to fly into the UK due to being promsied in person teaching only to find once i arrived we were online completely ive been stuck living completely alone and away from family due to it. First year I was in uni max 4 weeks due to the strikes that were going on and all my lectures being cancelled due to it. Second half of second year has been much better, with more opportunities opening up but I will not continue a post grad here due to this experience.
We have a lot of friends here. UoL is really a beautiful area. The scenery is everywhere.
My faculty has given us good support over the lockdown period. Cant say much about the facilities because I havent got to use them.
Uni of Liverpool offers great study abroad programs which allowed me to study in Australia! I had a great time at UOL! Greatly recommend
Great university and lovely staff. Love it !
IconInc is by far the best accommodation I have stayed in during my years at university. Breakfast is great quality and the gym is perfect. All the staff go above and beyond. Libbie and Lucy on days are great and Pete who works the nights is down to earth. Highly recommend.
Tutors and staff are supportive. Great on campus services offered.
Wouldn’t know much, haven’t been on campus
I have not been on campus so I have no idea what the facilities are like therefore these rating do not reflect the actual services
Good University I've enjoyed it
Great university, terrible internet connection around campus though. Supportive staff and a fun community.
University of Liverpool will always be my number one choice because the cultural diversity of this institution is the best.
I love being on the university
Great uni, great experience. Nice atmosphere
Although haven’t experienced much because of COVID, all the info about everything is great
Great atmosphere and students are lovely
I haven’t even been to my university yet so it’s hard to say.
It’s been good so far only been here a little bit
Haven’t been to uni yet on campus but I’ve heard great things .. which influenced my decision
Helpful uni with friendly staff
Great experience and really good people friendly staff
Really really really really good
Friendly staff even with covid 19 going on
Good facilities and course, lectures are helpful
I am enjoying my time at the University of Liverpool. The facilities are very good with lots of activities.
Liverpool Uni is fab, great that it is central to the city and close to my accomodation.
The campus is great and the wifi is good
A very good university, full of friendly staff and students.
Amazing uni! But as I was based in London, I had no access to societies and the student union which made my time at Uni of Liverpool a bit boring. However, the careers service and lecturers were very good!
I love my university life at UoL
I love UOL, it's beautiful and with good techers.
Great atmosphere, great facilities
it's definitely a better place to study and meet new friends. The staff are very friendly.
It's a nice university to study.
A nice and friendly uni (only really filling this out so I can post the review about capital gate, don’t go, avoid that place and don’t say I didn’t warn u)
Everything is good, i will miss here forever
Rich of campus clubs and societies, well-organized events, and a good experience in the University of Liverpool!
The university is excellent. The quality of teaching is great and the material provided is always engaging and fun
a good university. all staffs are kind to help the student. good sport center, however,it is a little sad that no football ground in the campus.
nice places and good time with nice guys
Pretty decent university, nice atmosphere, Nice people
Loved it. Best university by far. Would do anything to go back in time.
Loved all three years here would recommend to anyone that wants a good balance of a good uni and a good social scene
A fantastic university that offers a nice campus but also close to the city!
Liverpool is an amazing uni, great facilities and societies. Not as social as other unis though as there aren't many events on campus.
Covid-19:
UoL is great. Great social spaces and education
It's a redbrick university, so the student union/guild is very minimal and your expected to do everything yourself. The accommodation is great for first years but after that your on your own. I'm sure the facilities are going to be great in 10 years when they are finished building them but for now they suck. The student bar is over priced and the student run club got shut down, but the city of Liverpool is a great night out anyway with something for everyone. The city if Liverpool is the best thing about the university. Its badly run (at least electrical engineering is) and the lecturers don't care 90% of the time. You are a number on a spreadsheet. There is no mental health support, something student's have campaigned for several times but that still hasn't happened, even after the suicide of several students. My advice, come here if you want a decent name on your degree but don't have to grades to go to Manchester.
Great university. The people are lively
There are loads of societies for all different types of people. Libraries have loads of textbooks so it’s very unlikely you’ll have to buy any. All students are really friendly & approachable, night life is the best in the UK. Only con can be lack of study space in exam season & lecturers can be unavailable to help
A great campus in a fantastic city, The school of Psychology throughout my 3 years have provided good teaching and support. Would recommend.
Good campus but wifi almost never works
Throughout my 2 year at this university I haven't encountered any issues other than the strikes. Staff is lovely and always willing to help and most of my lecturers are absolutely brilliant
Great university, no issues with them so far at all, very friendly if you struggle at all
Was disappointed at the beginning but i guess it was just me not knowing anything about my university but after 2 years in, i am so proud of my university.
good place...........................
reaction to COVID very quickly and effectively.
Wide variety of societies, great facilities.
Nice campus. A lot of societies. Had a great time.
Great university. It is great.
Nice university in Liverpool, teachers are good
Great university and Library is good that have many journals to use
OK, not many career driven, motivated people.
great facilities, great management
kind and warm classmates and teachers, a lot of different activities, variety of interest clubs that you can develop yourself
Close to the University, if you spend 5 minutes on walk, you can visit the most of building of university.
Uni Of Liverpool is overall a good uni. The student union is good offering cheap pints, pool and quizzes but dosent match the uni of Leeds student union. The Libraries are massive and very easy to use.
UoL is great school and has nice facilities. And professors are really great, too
A good place for students to study and explore. Interesting learning atmosphere and friendly teachers are quite suitable for students

Campus is great with lots to do.
Best connection of student and social life + the uni is popular enough to be recognised be emloyes but still chill enough to have some fun during some lectures/ with lecturers
Great location in city, great campus variety and available opportunities
Everything is good. I learned a a lot during the semester.
Great university in my home city. Staff are really friendly and would definitely recommend!! Just get eduroam wifi sorted in the lecture theatres - it's a complete joke and never connects probably because the APs have reached their device limit!
Uni of Liverpool provides excellent teaching and social opportunities for students.
Amazing facilities and opportunities
Good place to study in , the academic education can be improved , and the students are under pressure always
Mostly good but the hearted is not so easy to use
The career service is very helpful.
University of liverpool offers a great education for students coming from abroad like me!!! There are a lot of societies available for different sports and cultures!
Great experience and great teaching stuff. Learn a lot from this university
Very good uni; have had a good experience since being here!
