Newcastle - Ultimate University City

- cheapest alcohol you can possibly find - whole array of clubs and bars - taxis are dirt cheap - everything is pretty much walking distance if you don't fancy a cab

Cons?
- lack of variety on a night out, all very mainstream clubbing which you can get anywhere (excluding World Head Quarters and Cosmic Ballroom) - it's cold all the time, and it's not acceptable to wear a jacket out - obviously transport is not as rapid as london or manchester but can't be dealt with
