I wouldn't choose another hall. JBH has everything you could need. A great community, a great location, the friendliest staff and the food is generally really good. Yes, there are things that could be better, but the Hall Committee are really good at working with staff to improve on feedback given by the students.
My experience at John Burnet Hall is one I will genuinely never forget. The friends I have made and the experiences I have shared with them are lifelong. I only hope that future generations will enjoy it as much as I have done. Thank you JBH X
I stayed in the annexe, fab en-suite, fab kitchen; shame about the (very short!) walk outside to food/laundry. Hall food was okayyy (I'm a picky eater). Loved the small size of the hall and sense of community, also very convenient location for most thing. 10/10 would recommend.
A really great hall with an amazing community vibe. Small enough that you feel part of something special without being so small that you lose out on any of the uni experience. The management and staff are lovely too!
