Unilife High Street Biography
Unilife High Street is the ideal location for students as the property is situated on the main high street of Southampton. Students will be only a two-minute walk from Westquay shopping centre and bars, restaurants, and leisure activities in the city. It takes ten minutes to walk to Solent University and twenty minutes by bus to the main campus of the University of Southampton.
The building is equipped with a 24-hour electronic access control system and video surveillance system to ensure the safety of you and your personal belongings. Every internal door in the building requires a key fob, always ensuring maximum security. A dedicated city manager and city supervisor are located on-site and are available to support all residents. Students can make use of the many social areas like the social hub equipped with a large TV, communal kitchen and dining area, games room with TV, PS5 and karaoke machine. Weekly events calendar offering internal and external events are a great chance to get to know your neighbours. For students' added benefits there is also grab-and-go breakfast, an onsite 24-hour gym with weekly exercise classes, an on-site laundry room and secure bike storage. When you need to get work done there are social study spaces with study booths and unlimited coloured printing.
The studios at High Street are self-contained with a private kitchenette and ensuite bathroom. Unilife provides an all-inclusive package, so the weekly rent covers all your utilities such as water, electricity, heating and guaranteed super high-speed WIFI. There is also a 48" TV with a TV licence and Netflix in your studio so you will have no additional costs at all which ensures you peace of mind during your studies.

Staying at unilife High Street which is at Southampton's city centre pad has been a solid experience. Ben, the city manager, keeps things running smoothly. Jaun is the go-to guy for a good laugh, and Alex's tech wizardry saved my Netflix binge more than once. It's like a cozy chaos thumbs up for student life here and making the living smooth too

Unilife is the best student apartment I have ever seen in Southampton. I have been to many of my classmates' apartments (such as VP, Mercury and Glen Eyre and many other apartments), which are far worse than Unilife. For this reason, my classmates are very jealous of me... They envy me very much when they come to visit me. Unilife High street has excellent hygiene, comparable to the sanitary conditions of 4-5 star hotels. I have seen many bugs in my classmates' apartment, but I can't see any foreign objects in Unilife. I noticed that the apartment housekeeper is cleaning up the whole building every day. Compared with my classmates worrying about hygiene every day, Unilife is really reassuring. In terms of facilities, Unilife also has the facilities of 4-5-star hotels. When I first came here, it was like coming to a star hotel 😂. It is worth mentioning that when I travelled during the Christmas holiday recently, none of the star hotels I live in were more comfortable than Unilife. Back
My experience at Unilife High Street has been outstanding. The staff here is friendly and incredibly helpful. My premium vip studio is exceptionally comfortable, and having a big screen TV. In addition, the location in the city center is perfect, with Costa and Lidl just seconds away. The weekday grab and go breakfast is convenient, and the regular interesting events they organize truly enrich the student experience. For students studying in Southampton, Unilife High Street is a fantastic choice!
I think the location of Unilife student accommodation is perfect which is located in the city center, and the type of the studio I live in right now is premium vip. I love the french windows so much, and the bathroom is so clean and nice with a big mirror. I would really recommend this accommodation to everyone.

I do think it’s a good accommodation for students. Although there are still some issues need to be resolved, but I really appreciate what the manager did for all of us, and the facilities are very useful, as well as the breakfast for free. In addition, the position is really convenient to buy groceries or go shopping. I would say it’s the best accommodation of students for ever!

My room is spacious and comfortable. I can easily study without being disturbed by anybody. Most importantly the staff has been very kind to me since my arrival.
I mailed with one of the team member Alex and he was always responding quickly even I asked a month later. Therefore good work of ethics just like other members in the team, Ben, Alverto, Marius... Apart from that it is basically the best located accommodation for students. We are living one of the plus studios with my partner and it is more than enough for us at the moment. I mean the place is modern-well furnished and everything but I like to problem solving capabilities of the team the most.
We had a somewhat unortodox experience at Unilife, Southampton but a great one non-the-less. The studios are large enough for two people to live and study without being in each other's way and space. The furniture is perfectly comfortable (there is a TV you can move to either face the bed or the couch and the table is the perfect height for both the couch and the desk chairs - perfect for boardgame night). The shower is massive and the bed is comfy but the best advantage is all the storage space within the studio (and the giant desks). Management wise, staff was great (especially Ben who always went above and beyond) and they helped with any issues and inquiries. There were also quite a few fun events (Chinese takeaway, Fifa tournament, bowling, football match, etc.). All in all, this is the perfect studio for a couple or a person living alone who likes the extra space. It is very conveniently located (do try Ji Chicken and the Korean BBQ right across the small street).
I would really recommend Unilife High Street to students studying in Southampton! There are friendly staff here, especially Ben Patrick, Unilife's City Manager, who is very kind and friendly and always solves our requests and problems very quickly.Ben and Unilife's team often organise interesting events in the residence, like bowling activities, pumpkin light making and get-togethers etc. The location of Unilife High Street is also perfect, with the lidl shop downstairs and Unilink & Bluestar bus stops very close by, making it very easy to get around. Southampton Central Railway Station is just a ten minute walk away, and the Westquay Shopping Centre is only a 3-minute short walk away. Every morning there are some delicious breads, fruits and drinks on the table downstairs, and the accommodation is cleaned every day by the staff to create a clean and comfortable environment for us. In short, my one-year stay at Unilife High Street was a great experience, so I'm willing to recommend it
My wife and I had booked a couple studio at Unilife High Street, Southampton. It was perfect for us as there was proper space for us both to study and to relax as well. One of the best aspects of the studio was the amount of storage we both had to keep all our bags, clothes, and other belongings. In addition to that we moved into a new building so everything in the studio was brand new and in pristine condition. The general quality of everything provided in the studio was fantastic. A special mention to all members of the Unilife staff, especially our main point of contact, Ben, who were all exceptionally helpful throughout our stay at Unilife. They were always available when required, and very quick to take action on any issues, queries or concerns that were raised. We also greatly appreciated the fact that they always ensured there were breakfast-to-go items available for the residents on a regular basis. As a result we had a very pleasant experience at Unilife.
Unilife is a wonderful place to live and study, and I highly recommend it! I stayed here for several years during my postgraduate and doctoral studies, and I only have good memories of the team and the place. The team is stellar, especially Frank is always extremely helpful and kind, Marius always attends to issues in the quickest and best manner, and the whole team is very responsive, reliable, and professional. The location is ideal, at the heart of the city, very close to the bus stop to Southampton University, and only a quick walk from several supermarkets, the West Quay shopping centre, cafes, restaurants and bars. The studios are spacious, light, fully equipped with modern and high quality furniture, fittings, and appliances. They are thoughtfully designed and self-contained, with plenty of storage space, a great bathroom and a very practical kitchenette. The building is quiet, well-kept, safe and secure, and the Unilife team is always eager to help!
The team at Unilife is EVERYTHING. The location of High Street is so good, RIGHT next to Lidl (supermarket) which stays open all day and the bus stop to Southampton University is a 30 second walk away. Right in the city centre, and the studios are amazing quality, spacious and light! The team helps you move in and out, social spaces are also amazing, with free gym and proper cinema screen. The building is quiet which makes it super postgrad friendly, the social spaces are in the basement which is great for minimal noise in the living areas. Highly recommend!!
Enjoyed a year here. Spacious rooms and the maintenance guys were friendly. Could do with better social spaces - but being in the city centre I spent more time outside than inside

I’ve been living with Unilife at High Street in Southampton for the past year and I have already booked to stay next year with my partner. It’s an amazing location right in the heart of the city very close to all shops restaurants and all that it’s needed. The studios are large and spacious with big bathrooms, double super comfy bed with tons of understorage area. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking hobs,combi microwave oven, good size fridge with a freezer compartment, lots of cupboard space too! We really like that we have our dining area separate from our study desks aether helps us to keep things organised and tidy. Our studio also has large big windows allowing as much light in as possible but we also have window blinds that guarantee our privacy. The service is top notch! Nothing is ever too much trouble! We recently asked for a different oven which the team was happy to help us with. On this specific note, a huge shoutout to Alberto who is always delighted to help at all.
Strength: located in the centre of Southampton. Easy to access all the shops and facilities. Room is nice for individuals professionals or students. Property managers are always helpful if we had any problems. Reasonable size common room and gym for tenets. Weakness: the room is very warm, especially in summer.(not very good air flow). No reception. Sometimes we can’t receive parcels if we aren’t at home.

I haven't yet moved in yet but Frank and Ben at Unilife Southampton have both been so helpful in arranging and doing virtual viewings, particularly given the coronavirus situation. The rooms look lovely - looking forward to moving in!
My daughter Grace is currently a student at Southampton University and it’s a fantastic place for her to stay while doing her studying. She was at a crappy flat before this and I can’t tell you how good it is that she is staying at somewhere clean friendly and warm. But the best thing is how safe and secure it is. The staff there really look after her when she needs anything and the security staff really put our minds at ease with their constant vigil. You have put our minds as parents at ease that she is being so well looked after. Thank you !!!!
