Pros: 1. Excellent location. Camden Town has truly everything to offer - great nightlife. There is a bus stop right outside the hall, and an Overground station 10 min walk and Underground station 15 min walk. You can get anywhere. 2. Reception team is nice and very helpful. Cons 1. Cleaning - Absolutely terrible. Toilets suck - they are not cleaned every day. 2. Food - The food is not good. No variety. Absolutely dirty utensils. Lack of choices for those with dietary restrictions. Coffee in the coffee machine is the weakest coffee I have ever had in my life. Totally not worth staying here if you are considering catered food. 3. Laundry - good luck getting your clothes dried with such weak drying power. Often have to go through another cycle and waste another quid. 4. Service - With the exception of the reception team, service is a big issue. Some of the cleaning staff are very rude.

This is the noisiest place I've ever lived in. Fire alarms every week, inspections and maintenance with no specific dates every couple of weeks, delivery trucks at 9 a.m. that are so noisy you can't not wake up, thin doors so you can participate in any conversation going on in your hallway, you name it. I've lived here for 7 months now and I can never call it home with the amount of strangers doing maintenance inspections and allowed in my room whenever they want even if I'm not there it's ridiculous. Catered accommodation allows you to get 2 edible meals a day on weekdays only with the strictest timings I've seen. Dinner from 5-7 only, and breakfast from 7:45 to 9. That said it's good value for money compared to other places, but if you want a room to call it home or a place to relax, this is not it.
1 word: Camden. Edgiest/most openminded place to be - Bus ride to UCL is 8-10 minutes rush hour and walking can be 25-35 minutes. Perfect for down-to-earth Freshers ready to socialise. (Several clubs are within walking distance which is great.)
despite it flooded 3 times and the heating going off for 2 days, ifor evans is the best hall in the entirety of london. I honestly wish I could relive my year there over and over again for the rest of my life. I will always miss my time there dearly. It was the ultimate university experience and more.
Nice really nice but awful general manager. He is a classist nasty person who doesn't like anyone who speaks with the queens english accent!
It is quite far away from UCL however all the clubs are around
