It's really feasible and near to Uni

We agree! We're so close to all universities - you can't get much closer! Thanks for your review :)
I smell a lot of weed (marijuana) all over the student village which really is not pleasant. Other than that it’s great

I have been having a really pleasant experience at Cambridge court with United student, the location is right in the middle of campus and close proximity to city centre. The members and other staff employees especially the coordinator Yusuf has been very efficient and effective in resolving all of our queries and problems. In summary Cambridge court is the ideal student accomodation which comes under budget but is very well managed.

Thank you for your review. We work hard to ensure you have the best time with us! Your feedback is important to us!

The location is good, a stone throw away from university and all shops, bars and clubs are within a reasonable walking distance. Reception staff are friendly, but since living here security is nowhere to be seen. The area is relatively quiet unless it’s freshers week so the social experience isn’t fantastic. Maintenance requests are constantly being filed as the buildings clearly haven’t been upgraded since the early 2000s bar a lick of paint and the addition of sofas. We’ve had the constant issue of silverfish in bathrooms & in the kitchen which seems to have been an issue for the past 10 years that has never been resolved. The room is decent, it comes with a single bed, bedside table, shelves, desk, chair & an under the bed drawer. The bed however seems to be more of a camping bed with plywood glued to it The bathroom is functional but small, you’d have to sit sideways on the toilet. It isn’t as modern as the photos on the website show.

Thank you for your review! Our student safety team are here from 10pm to 7am, and are located in reception. They do regular patrols throughout the evening. We also have a Resident Ambassador on-site, who delivers events and activities for our students on-site. You can pop to reception to find out more about how you can get involved with his events. We'll pass your feedback regarding maintenance of the property to our facilities manager, so they're aware of the issues that you face. Thanks again for your review, and please feel free to get in touch if you have any further questions.
So close to campus. Not that social though.
Covid-19: didn't live here during outbreak

Lived here 2000-01 and 2002-03. Reminiscing and having a look through other reviews and seeing that in that near two decade gap it looks pretty much the same bar a lick of paint and new sofas. Same cupboards, beds, issues with vermin and mould, staff that didn’t really listen to you. However made some great friends there I’m my first year and liked it so much stayed there again in my third year. Close to the uni and a stones throw from the bars and city centre. Many an evening in the Font ~Memories x

Cambridge court is great in terms of location to the university but not much else. It's relatively quiet most of the time (apart from freshers) and the staff are friendly but don't really care about ongoing issues. My block has had a problem with silverfish since about a month into living here and although they're harmless it's disgusting to find them crawling around the shower or inside food in the cupboards. Whenever we complain we get told they are 'dealing with it' but not much else is done. I've had a few times where I've turned my tap on to have brown sludge come out rather than water and the hot water tap is so hot after a few seconds that you'll burn yourself if you aren't careful. Cambridge court is okay at best, many accomodations within the same distance from the uni offer much more for the same price or less.

If you're a first year student, and looking for a sociable, comfortable place to live I wouldn't recommend this accomodation. With UoL halls (if you're a UoL student) even closer to the university, at the same price and at least 3x the value for money, these halls seem a little sub par. If youre looking for a very basic place where you can sleep and cook in then Cambridge ct is fine. The accomodation does put on various events every once in a while social-wise. My halls only had 4 rooms, two of my flatmates were never in and the other was a postgrad who kept to herself. Students at this accomodation were in majority either postgrad or international students. Its an OK place to live but I wouldnt expect great quality, and I definitely would say you could find somewhere much better budget wise!

Flat is grotty and needs painting, a tv would be lovely in the living room and should really be included for £124 a week, reception staff are helpful, if you have visitors and they park inside the complex you have to be in luck for there to be somebody to let you out if it's after reception hours or a Sunday. There is always people in the common room but the TV (for the whole complex) loses signal the majority of the time. The way the washing machines work is very modern but not cheap. I think overall, these Halls are extremely expensive for what i am offered. When I went to look around the accommodation before moving to university, the show flats were bright and colourful and when I moved into the flat I'm in now I can honestly say the flats are incomparable. The location of Cambridge court is good because there is close access to the co-op and it is about a 15 minute walk away from Liverpool One. It is quiet during the night too.

A good located accommodation, however a vile place to live. The rooms are tiny, yet bearable. The bathroom was disgusting, and yet maintaining to constantly clean it, i can say it was an issue with the building, not my cleanliness. The wood constantly rotted, mould filled the bathroom and the ceiling, the shower leaked, the bathroom was infested with an ant colony and when i ask SIX TIMES for it to be seen to, it became a recurring problem, and my request was often ignored. The whole outside of the place was infested with rats. The kitchen window was partially hanging out for the entire duration of the tenancy, despite being reported a number of times. The sofas were uncomfortable plastic. The ground floor was extremely noisy and people repeatedly looked into the ground floor bedrooms when leaving and entering the block. Never got a healthy night sleep which caused me to always miss Uni lectures. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Perfect location, friendly staff, basic halls but everything you need and overall a positive feel to the place.

The security staff are the worst and the halls are basically falling apart but the people are amazing!

Literally awful so run down and grotty inside. Looks like something that hasn't been done up for 30 years. only good thing is it is close to the uni. Would not recommend.

I really like the location of this accommodation, however I don't believe that is it value for money. I had a lot of things that needed replacing because they were brewing all throughout my time there. And the laundrette wasn't particularly satisfactory. However, the location is spot on and the en-suites are fab.

In a very good location, staff who work there are nice, nice relaxing atmosphere. Maybe be could to have a lift, as sometimes I struggled using the stairs when I had lots of bags to carry, and I was on the top floor!

Flat in complete disrepair.. Rooms are tiny. The bathroom has never been cleaned properly - I was disgusted when I moved in. Noise level on ground floor is bad. Internet connection is temperamental. The laundry facilities are really expensive and the machines rarely work properly. Feel ripped off and exploited having lived here.

Everything is the bare minimum which is very disappointing considering the price. Cooler students are normally located nearer to the town centre.

Halls in a great location for university and the town centre. However the decor isn't as modern as other accommodations and the rooms need modernisation.

Thank you for your review!
It's ridiculously expensive for what I had, I paid 120£ a week, for a fairly small room, a shower that leaked (and took forever to fix) they left it so long there was mould in my room, and the first time they cleaned it they didn't even do it properly! The people on the welcome desk were absolutely lovely, and so helpful with problems, but it just took so long to get them fixed. Also, the clothes washer and driers were like 6£ a run, so you're probably better off taking your clothes home.
