My stay at Bridge House has been an incredible one so far! My room is very spacious and well looked after, the kitchen has lots of storage space and great facilities, and the view from my room is absolutely stunning! The thing I like most about my room, by far, is the huge window that allows me to watch the sun set and rise over Kelvingrove Park and the big tower of the University of Glasgow. However, the biggest reason I have truly enjoyed my stay here at Bridge House, so far, is the welcoming atmosphere created by Col and Charlene - the staff that are always offering a helping hand at reception. They are always in for a chat and are always so willing to guide me through whichever 'problems' I face. It doesn't matter how big or small: they will always provide a creative solution, which really means a lot when you are far away from home. I am so happy I chose to spend my Glasgow adventure here at Bridge House!

The hall is located near by a river, which looks great through the window in the room. And it is quite near from GU(15min walk).a very peaceful place~The social space is satisfying with a gym,a reading room and some open space.

Wi-Fi is very bad, playing games and watching videos are often dropped.

Bridge House is an amazing place to stay. It is modern clean and nice and quiet. The rooms are great and staff wonderful and friendly. It feels so much like home with a very friendly safe feeling to it. Takes me just 5 mins walk to classes. Shops are really close and convenient too.

Thanks for your feedback.
really good experience The location is great and staffs are really kind helpful and responsible ! By the way, the heater is not warm enough

Thanks for your feedback. If you log your heater issue as maintenance we will come and check it and replace if needed.
Bridge House is a great, modern accommodation that is so close to Glasgow Uni. The rooms and kitchens are a great size. There are loads of shops, bars and restaurants near by with great transport links. I am post grad so enjoy the site because its not party central. I can study in the social spaces and it feels like a home from home. The staff are amazing, so friendly and will do anything for you. I would recommend this site to anyone.

Thanks for your feedback.
Do not ignore the reviews saying it is around 80% Asian and if you're any other nationality you will be left out!! I ignored as I was assured my flat was 50:50 which was absolutely not the case! No one would talk in the kitchen and if you think you can use the lovely social area, don't be so sure, literally no one ever uses it. If you aren't interested in any social interaction but nice facilities bridge house is for you

Hello, Bridge House is 60% international students, based on real time figures. When placing any student in a flat we advise them fully of the principles behind shared accommodation. As we are a multi-cultural city and accommodation we do not specifially place a certain nationality of student in any flat. This particular flat was 50:50 with International and UK based students and still is. As your accommodation provider we have no control over how sociable students are within their shared flats. Bridge House offers plently of social activities and events that students can choose to participate in or not. It's really down to each individual and how they interact with others that affects their stay at any accommodation. As with all shared accommodations you are not able to guarantee the nationality or socialness of the other flat mates. Bridge House is an ultra modern, friendly accommodation that welcomes all nationalities to share and interact. We are extremely close to Glasgow Uni and have a 4.9 out of 5 star rating thanks to our amazing students. Thanks
Even if they say something else this is a 90% chinese student accomodation, which mean 2 things: Probably you wont make any friends and the kitchen/living room is gonna be a mess always, you cannot even fight because they just dont talk to you and speak in mandarin between each other. On the other hand, location is perfect, the room is always warm in winter and the building is quite new so everything looks nice.

Hello, Our demographic is 60% international (Asian) students and the rest being made up of American, Canadian and European. We do not have 90% Chinese students. We are predominantly 6 bed shared cluster flats. You have your own bedroom, bathroom and share a large kitchen. As with any shared accommodation you have to work closesly with any flat mates to make sure thats all living areas are kept clean and tidy and to a standard that suits everyone. We also have studio flats if you do not feel comfortable living in a shared accommodation. We are within a 5-8 minute walk of Glasgow University as well as being very close to all transport links, shops, cafe's etc. We are a bright, modern, homely feeling site.
There are some things I absolutely love about living here and a few minor irks, but that's the deal with any living establishment. The absolute positives. The staff are amazing! all of them. The location is absolutely perfect. less than 5 minute walk to Kelvin hall, and maybe 10-15 to library, depending on how fast you walk. Everything is included in a fair and decent price, only negative is there's only 2 washers and dryers ea. and they laundry can at time be a little backed up. (not often though) The 'negatives' Common areas can get really noisy sometimes, and on the lower levels it's really annoying when at 2 am someone is outside drunk yelling & laughing super loud. Social areas are for being social but not everyone in the building wants to party(doesn't happen every weekend, but has happened a few times)but that's mostly 18 yo being 18 yo's. Only downside is no authoritative figures to control when pass an acceptable time However, overall an amazing place to stay! Do recommend

Hello, Thanks so much for your open and honest feedback. Lots of positives and a few minor irks. On the whole as you say Bridge House is a very well rounded place to stay. Now and again students will be students and have use of the social areas to party. Unfortunately this is all part and parcel of student life. I'm glad it is only now and again and not bothering you often. If at any point you feel the noise levels are unacceptable please call our out of office hours mobile number which is displayed on the wall at the office. One of our student wardens will assist you in dealing with the noise. We are really glad that you are enjoying your stay with us and we hope that you re book if you are still in study for 2019/20. Many Thanks Col
This is the great accommodation I have ever chosen. Great environment, great management. One the perfect thing is that you will feel so warm in your room in the winter even you turn off the heating radiator.

Hello, Thank you so much for the lovely feedback. Thanks Col
It's a pleasure to live here. I like the quiet.

Hello, Thanks for the positive feedback. We are glad you enjoyed living at Bridge House. Thanks Col :)
if you are not a chinese student you will have a harder time to actually be social in this dorm - even though the dorms offer great monthly/weekly socials, few people actually go and since the majority is chinese and they tend to not mingle with non-chinese. which is sad but so far i have not made any friends. cleaning: there is a nice cleaning lady cleaning the common spaces on the ground floor - flawless. but for your shared kitchen and shared hallways you and your flatmates are responsible, which can be a source of conflict if your flatmates don't (like to) clean. otherwise, staff is absolutely great, i will miss them when i move out.

Hello, Thanks for your feedback. Bridge House is currently 60% Chinese students with a then mixture of American, European/British and Canadian. We feel we have a great mixture of students. We offer daily, weekly and monthly social events with lots of giveaways to help all students interact and enjoy their stay here at Bridge House. Is there anything more you feel we can do on site to help you interact more and make friends? Please use our suggestion box at reception to feed any ideas back to us. The full building is in perfect condition and is extremely clean as you mentioned. Tracey our Housekeeper loves interacting with all our students as well as Charlene our Customer Services advisor and Col the Accommodation Manager. We also have 5 Student Wardens and a Maintenance Operative for the site. The 6 bed cluster flats cleanliness like any other flat or HMO is the responsibily of all students living there to keep clean and tidy. We do have a recommended cleaning company that you can pay directly to clean your flat. If you would ltheir contact details please contact Col or Charlene in the office. We love that you think we are great staff and greatly appreciate your feedback. Thanks Col Nicholson Accommodation Manager Bridge House
