Bit overpriced but space is nice. Some maintenance took too long to fix. Good location (though docks are loud at night) as fairly close to town and very close to train station. Super friendly staff, always somebody about and uaually easy to find. Good parcel collection system, never had anything go missing.

Pros: - Spacious rooms - All the needed amenities - Unexpected sound-contained rooms are awesome - Staff are amazing in most every case - Close to shops and a train station to reach campus - Seaside air is pretty neat Cons: - Freezer space is pretty small - wifi can be sporadic - power can occasionally be problematic (just get reception, they know what to do ^^)

Good value for money, Maritime is in a very convenient place close to Falmouth town and the train station. Rooms are spacious and have all the amenities needed. Staff are also pretty fast at responding to issues and fixing them. They also either host or share information about other events for the community to get together. Wifi seems to be better on higher floors, on the lower ones it tends to be slower. Good for studying, but might struggle on a Teams call.

I would say it is too expensive for what it is, although it is one of the only studio apartment student accommodations in the area. The rooms are nice, and it’s very nice having a balcony especially if you’re lucky enough to get a sea view.

I moved to Maritime Studios five months after joining University and have never looked back and should have come here from the start. Great for independent living. The studio is well equipped, compact and well designed. Good heating points for colder weather but large windows and sliding doors to the balcony for fresh air. Staff are friendly and so are other residents. It's quiet which is great for studying and it's good to watch the cruise ships in the docks. There is a large common room with a TV, book case and other activities available with great panoramic views on the higher floor. Events are held occasionally such as pancake day, popcorn day and pumpkin carving. The transport links and location are fantastic.

It's a great place to live. Self contained and feels secure and friendly if you want or socialise. Great team. Easy to go to with any problems (not that there are any)

Very expensive for an average room where everything goes wrong. Over the last year my bathroom light was broken for over 6 months with out them fixing it as well as the bathroom sink which took just over a month to fix even though having broken sanitation fixtures is a violation in the tenancy agreement. When asking when they can get some one to fix issues, they will say a worker will be in on a certain date and then they never turn up. The staff are very rarely seen doing anything apart from sitting on the sofas and can be rude and patronising when asking them if they can repair anything. One male member of staff told a young female resident to 'stop stomping her little feet around' when asking if they could get someone to repair all the lights in her bedroom as none of the lights including the emergency lighting had worked for 2 weeks. The best thing about living here is the location as it's next to train station and a short walk from town, the beach and Falmouth university campus

I really like living in this accommodation, my room is perfectly spacious and the staff are very accommodating and have been very open to answer any questions that I've had. There have been several little events throughout the year so far which have been great fun and a nice way to meet other tenants 5hat also live in the building. I would recommend the as a place to live for any student wanting their own space and living facilities.

Maritime Studios is conveniently located next to Falmouth Docks train station and only a five minute walk to Castle beach. All the staff are friendly and always on hand to help with any queries.

Living at Maritime Studios was fab! Friendly team on site 24/7, ample social spaces to socialise with friends, right next to the train station and only a 10 min walk from the centre of town! Perfect spot for my final year to both focus and enjoy my last year as a student!

I lived in Maritime Studios (Falmouth) during the academic years 2015/2016 & 2016/2017, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Having lived in a variety of studio flat accommodation at different universities, it is by far the best I have ever had. The accommodation is spacious and modern, with high-quality appliances and stylish design. The flats are well maintained, and any maintenance issues are dealt with extremely promptly. The accommodation is bright and uplifting, with plenty of window space/natural light. All flats have their own balcony, giving access to outside space which few studio flats have. Similarly, there is a building garden with a mini allotment; a real bonus. There are indoor communal spaces which provide an ideal spot for a change of scene or to make friends with fellow residents. A penthouse-style common room offers access to games and social spaces, with exceptional views.
