Southend is good place to study

Living in halls is claustrophobic, cause you can barelly open your windows.
Limited resources throughout the Southend campus
Overpriced, would reccomend renting outside. Two alarms every Friday lasts roughly 30 mins. Everything in the common room you have to pay for evidently discouraging students from using it. Maintenance takes long to fix problems, had to have cold showers for over two weeks and also had to sleep roughly four nights with a broken window. Security think they are investigators invading personal space, had an incident in which false information was given about me on a report leading to me receiving a fine. Good location as close to London, nightlife is stail and nothing is open past 10’o’clock. Would not reccomend this place to anyone in terms of value for money.
Everything needed is in a maximum 15 minutes walk radius, London is an hour away by train and rooms are cozy and all of them en suite with fast wifi included.
A bit overpriced for what it is SBD you have to ask multiple times for faults to actually be fixed but it's not too bad.
Maintenance work takes forever to happen, poor cleanliness standard of room upon arrival. Vents in room mean you can hear everything even in the neighbouring flat. And the common room isn't comfortable at all, looks cheap. Overpriced for what you get, would have been better renting outside.
Very clean with friendly staff - only downside is that ground floor doesn't have signal and cant make calls.
