Castle Hill Biography
Castle Hill is ideally situated in Cambridge and is within easy reach of universities, such as the University of Cambridge and Anglia Ruskin University. The area surrounding the building is filled with historical streets and a fantastic range of local amenities.
If you are looking to meet your neighbours you can attend one of the monthly social events or hang out in the gaming areas and communal lounges. When wanting to work up a physical or mental sweat, you can make use of the onsite gym or quiet study rooms. There are handy facilities including laundry rooms and bike storage. To ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible there is 24-hour CCTV, Wi-Fi and onsite maintenance and housekeeping.

I Booked Castle Hill for my final year of university, due to it being a studio predominant property. the studio was by far the cheapest studio with an oven in Cambridge. I enjoy the size of the property and the management are lovely. My only issue is there is not enough shelving included in the room.

The room and entire building is very clean and true to photos on the website. Lots of storage space, cabinet,s and places under the mattress to store luggage are very convenient. And Donna, the manager is the sweetest person I’ve met in Cambridge! The location is close to the supermarket, and city center as well.

I am really impressed with the accommodation at Castle Hill. The common room is the highlight of my time here and is perfect to host friends! The gym, albeit small, is perfect for my needs. My studio room is lovely and I enjoy being part of the community here!

The location is great! It’s not too far away from the town centre so living here gives me easy access to everything and at the same time keeps me away from the crowd. Staff are very helpful. Needless to say, the interior of the rooms is stylish and beautiful.

Walking into my room at Abodus felt like a dream. It was absolutely breathtaking. I was astonished by how well designed the rooms are, the ambience and even the thoughtfulness put into the small welcome package given at check in. The manager, Donna is so gracious and kind and I just love how much she genuinely wants you happy and satisfied... overall, this is a great place to live in cambridge, no complaints at all.

Abodus Castle Hill is a great place for students to live. The rooms are super comfortable with modern designs and in a perfect condition. Hallways and common rooms/facilities, such as the laundry room, gym, and the Common Room are always clean and super organised. It also is very easy to report a maintainance issue and the stuff is very responsive and always happy to help. Mrs Donna is also extremely helpful and delighted to help all students with any issue they face. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is planning to stay in Cambridge!

My stay at Abodus Student Accommodation has been total comfy. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed with thoughtful souvenirs, delicious edibles, and some basic amenities, instantly making me feel at home. The rooms are state-of-the-art, impressively spacious, and offer a comfortable living environment. The gym and common room are definite highlights – both well-equipped and inviting spaces for socializing and unwinding after classes. The proximity to campus and nearby facilities makes it incredibly convenient. The staff's friendly and accommodating nature further elevates the experience. Overall, Abodus Student Accommodation has provided me not just a place to stay but a welcoming community and exceptional facilities that have truly enhanced my Cambridge experience. Fun fact, it is 5mins away to 2 major supermarkets and 1 min away from the Hospital as well - in case of an emergency. I can say for a fact it is well centered to make life easy.

Castle Hill is an amazing place to stay with an amazing community and staff. Donna and Simona work extremely hard and it all definitely shows in the building. I was so lonely last year but now I have friendly faces saying hello every time they see me walk by. I’m thrilled to help as an RA as well and further foster this community by holding events and activities like karaoke or games nights. I’m also disabled and the accessibility is amazing. So worth it!
