Expensive rents. Big rooms - nice distance from town (out of the way of tourists but effort if you want sainsburys or a cash machine). Food amazing, cafe has lots of choices too. Access to emergency foods (milk bread beans) and open till late all week which is handy. Cleaners are lovely. Sadly hardly anyone using the common room. Apparently we have a TV room too which I've never even seen?? Really lovely down to earth college. Very modern and normal

Tight community with wonderful people. Good food. Near the university library.
The rooms are nice and clean, basic but allows for your personal decorations. Blackheath lane is a 5 minute drive or 40ish minute walk. Quite close to the town centre where there are a few little bars and clubs. I often see reslife staff pottering about and they do a great job. Reslife have made it clear that they are always there if anything is needed. I was actually impressed by how clean it was here. The houses and room were nice. There were a few mucky patches but nothing too bad. The only thing I was annoyed by was the oven, it was filthy. There's a little lounge/dining area which is good for watching films together. No tv there though which is a shame as I know that the stoke on trent campus houses have a tv in the living room and wifi included in rent. Social experience: There was a cute little welcome bbq when everyone moved in, reslife helped us all mingle. Wifi was not provided, which is a nightmare considering our class info is all online. We had to install it.
