My time here I didnt move into the new building which I recommend HIGHLY!!! There is a big difference between buildings of more room, updated bathrooms and bed sizes (from single to double) and socially, the new buildings contain more social and lovely people. During my time there we had issues with roommates stealing food that staff did not address or refund, however, the location to campus and price made it worth staying there read more
The best thing about Jaratt Hall was its proximity to Bristol Road and campus, everything was close by, and it never took longer than 15 minutes for me to get to anywhere I needed to go. There's not a lot of social spaces but each flat is relatively small with good-sized kitchens so there's room for socialising. Most of the social events (accommodation campus-wide) are run around significant events i.e. end of semester, Easter etc,,, and there's a big focus on events in Fresher's week. I'd say that this is pretty decent but more weekly social experiences may have made the overall experience more fun. With a smaller flat and ensuite bedrooms there's generally less of a mess but it is student accommodation so expect it to be functionally clean at the best of times. The only really negative experience I had at Jaratt Hall was the water being shut off for three days due to a pipe leak; not having access to water and only being provided with three 1 litre water bottles wasn't a great time. read more

The accommodation is modern and well-maintained, with spacious rooms and en-suite bathrooms, making it a comfortable and convenient choice for students. The communal areas are great for socializing, and the friendly atmosphere helps you meet people easily. Security and staff support are also excellent, making it feel safe and welcoming.
