My university experience has overall been a very good place, it allowed me to grow as individual and become the person I was proud and happy of being. In terms of facilities the DMU campus is a mix between new and old builds, in that sense the technology is all new and of the best quality allowing you to do your best, the old buildings give you a very rustic feeling and a very nice scenic view read more

Consistently having issues with lecturers across every subject, hearing from many people across different faculties that they have the same issues. Poor workload due to the short time provided for assessments, not enough information provided for the assessments again due to the time, consistently contradicting feedback. Regularly delayed grading. Staff being forced to leave by the higher ups due to budget cuts leaving students without enough lecturers between us. Inaccessible campus (on a hill both upwards and sideways, and super uneven paving with broken concrete in areas) especially in a wheelchair. Most doors don't have automatic systems so even more inaccessible. Most lecturers are very prejudice towards disabilities and mental health from what I've seen. Reports made but nothing happens. Available resources but hard to access at times or very unhelpful sometimes. read more

I really love my university as it always has something going around, wether its is DSU or in social communities I am apart of. Furthermore, the campus has all the facilities to support and help achieve more for students which I believe is core purpose. The career teams are soo supportive and they always look for new opportunities when we are unable to find one by ourselves and they are always looking out for us and helping us whenever possible. read more

The DMU campus is not large, but it provides an environment with complete hardware and software facilities, so that students can find a suitable space to study alone or discuss with classmates anywhere on campus. There are also sufficient equipment and professionals to assist students with technical needs in report writing or work production (the school also provides free use of some paid software such as Adobe Express). For example, after class, I will use the socket in the building or library where I take classes to use my laptop or a public computer to make a presentation or write a report. I can then directly connect to the printer in the same space to print out the document. In addition, because internships require the opening of a Linkedin account, the campus also provides studio rentals so that students or staff can take relevant professional photos. read more
