Comparative Literature and German, MA Hons FullTime

I adore the staff within the modern languages departments and I get to encounter new people each week who teach within their own niches with such passion and enthusiasm that it is infectious. The comparative literature modules are so relevant and I learn something new every day, which I often find myself continuing to research or discuss with my friends weeks and months after teaching is done. The German course and German department is incredible, and the range and depth of modules which we are offered, even at sub-honours is so unique; for this I feel incredibly lucky. read more

Modern Languages (French and Russian) and International Relations, MA Hons FullTime

Great course! Amazing teaching (in particular the Russian department is outstanding) and wide range of modules available. St Andrews is the best for IR in terms of breadth of modules available - every niche is catered for, and being able to take two languages alongside is fantastic. Taking a triple honours degree can be tough in terms of workload but is very rewarding. read more
