History is a good degree to get if you love to read and write. The classes are incredibly engaging and the lecturers are in general outstanding. The reading is intense, but it works well if that is your forte. The job prospects are not great, but if you want to be a lawyer but don’t want to do law undergraduate it’s a good degree to get. read more

Art History and Biblical Studies, MA Hons FullTime
St Mary's is great - such a lovely community of people where staff respect the students and vice versa. Amazing conversations had inside and outside of the classroom. Art History department has a selection of staff with amazing knowledge, but there is not much of a community feel and there seems to be quite a distance between staff and students. Staff aren't always very approachable. read more
