My degree is going quite well I would say, my lecturers are friendly and happy to help but i did have 1 specific lecturer that kept striking with the ucu, which i have nothing against if there had been replacements, i missed out on alot of the teaching for that class. Also bare in mind this is a highly practical course read more

Although I haven't been here long, I am enjoying the course so far. The basics are a bit boring at times but you have to learn them in order to get onto the more exciting things on the course. Shout out to the best tutor- ROBIN. He's amazing and he's there for all of us in our group. Absolute legend. read more

The course has given me opportunity’s to make great things in lesson but I with COVID and my personal issues I couldn’t work well in COVID situations and therefore the only course material lacked hugely to where now I feel cheated as my first year was full of the sentiment “first year doesn’t count” second year had the ball dropped just as we were about the do the bulk of work to show for our learning that left me feeling underprepared and under-experienced entering an empty and not at all worth the money third year read more

I did film production* and the course was interesting, apart from the fact that I'd already learnt the whole first year syllabus in college already so it was a bit of a drag. People on the course were sometimes very difficult to work with and tutors often did nothing about it so marks were dragged down because of someone else's lack of effort. Tutors went on strike for 5 weeks leading up to the easter break so we missed 5 weeks worth of teaching and did not get refunded for the teaching we were paying for. Lost a lot of money just to sit in my flat for 5 weeks doing nothing and ended up being broke by the end of the year. Some tutors were quite useless and often gave you false information about the assignments. But it was an interesting course nevertheless and if you want to learn more about the industry as well as create films I would recommend the course. read more
