I love my course but as a whole understand that lsychology isn't the job where you expect to get a lot of money and with high competition along with many many years of experience to pursue a pathway. However, regarding the course, I love every aspect from lectures to seminars which pushes me to pursue the career i want to be in

The psychology course for year 1 here is pretty decent where it covers a wide range of things within the course such as memory, the biological component of psychology as well as learning in depth about mental health issues and disorders such as anxiety, depression and schizophrenia and more. There are some optional modules as well for first year such as language in the brain which is interesting. Teaching is mostly good where most of the lecturers are sound however you do get the odd lecturer out who you may find it difficult to understand. Overall though I would highly recommend the course where I found it fun and interesting. read more

Pretty decent lecturers and workshops, and mid module evaluations are really useful to get your points across to lecturers. Most lecturers really do try to make the best out of their module, and to help with any questions and problems you may have. Personal tutors can work alongside the wellbeing and counselling team, and DAS, which can help if you need any extenuating circumstances- the better you get to know them, the better references you have read more

Just finished year one - can't say too much yet, but the lack of lectures, and then the teaching itself, is awful. 5 1-hour lectures a week, where half the time the projector wasn't working, is an excellent use of £9000. read more
