Great Course, I enjoy the content. However I do feel like some politics modules can be taught with a neutral point of view. To allow students to make up their own judgments read more

The employment stats for Economics/Law are down to the students, not the university. If you want to work in the City as a banker, investor, lawyer etc, expect to put in the work yourself. These ‘top’ courses are now saturated by half-hearted nobodies, personality defunct individuals and uninterested internationals. Not to mention that such courses are taught in a boring, lengthy manner. Go to a better RG or an easier course, at least then you’ll have time to enjoy the nightlife in Notts instead of working on lacklustre work. read more

As a fresher you get little value for money and have little contact with your personal tutor; mainly because the first year is too easy for most. However as you advance towards your final year they both improve massively, with your personal tutor playing a key role in your final year. Teaching is strong and the course material offers a good variety allowing students to take their own path in developing their own thoughts around the subjects, though admittedly for a duel honours there could be better links between the 2 schools. Considering the average economics graduate from Uni of Nottingham earns £30,000 (well over the avg National starting salary), this is testament to how good the careers services are. read more

A great degree to do. Very time consuming and demands a lot of personal work, in terms of research, reading and keeping up to date with current issues. But an econ grad can apply in nearly every sector, and there is the spring week to help with job prospects. read more
