Our uni doesn’t pay for the architectural softwares like some other unis, they are really expensive. Don’t know why they don’t provide it when I am paying 27 grand a year. But professors are nice. Hope they will get paid reasonably amount pension and stop strikes. read more

This course is excellent value for money as all model making material are free and so are all the trips abroad. It focuses heavily on the design of a building for Part 1 which suited me very well. Top architecture firms visit the department’s End of Year Show giving students possible job opportunities. Also the department is so well respected that simply graduating from here makes you an automatic contender for good jobs when you leave. read more

The course is great value for money. You basically do 2 three year courses in 4 years so there s a lot of material and content. However integration of the courses is not great. The architecture tutors have almost no awareness or understanding of what the Meng course requires, what other modules we do, the extra skills we gain and should be able to integrate into our studio work and when our deadlines fall. The course is small and the lack of awareness and consideration for it is frustrating however it's still well worth doing and the extra qualifications and understanding gained make it worth it. read more
