They offer a wide range of future job opportunities as well as jobs for now. They also run loads of networking events and get us in contact with different places to access more opportunities to help as advance after uni and during uni with placements or work experiences etc. The teaching quality is always good and they usually give us the slides before hand to prepare and go into more detail in the lectures. Our seminars are very informative and can help me understand things that I maybe did not get. My personal tutor was very friendly and gave me lots of helpful advice as well as signposting the services offered in Kent like student support and wellbeing etc. The course content is not only interesting but makes you think about the law more critically as well as proving lots of case studies to help us understand how the law is applied.

Law is very challenging but in a good way, the staff give good lecturers and seminars. Criminology is not as good, the content is quite repetitive on core modules and can get a bit boring. Additionally having criminology as joint with law is a good way of breaking up hard content however, it does restrict your options of modules in 2nd and 3rd year a lot read more

The teaching quality is high and very interesting as most lecturers have taken up their own research. You are also allocated a personal tutor to help you with anything if you need it. Although I wasn’t given many module options for my first year, I was given many more choices in your 2nd year. Overall, I’m very happy with my course at Kent. read more

Mostly covered old and out of date theories. Especially in digital culture which was vastly put of date, presentation prepared last second, always overran and the lecturer gave me a lower mark because I'm deaf. read more

My course leaders went on strike in my second year, and I must of missed about of month of teaching, whilst still paying £9,250 a year, instead of being reimbursed for my loan being spent on NOTHING, everyone was told that the money would “be put back into the uni for pay for facilities”. Utter joke! read more
