I am blown away by the career service in particular, as it has given me a lot of skills in addition to the skills I learn in lectures. Kent does quite a bit of meetings around employment ( both online and in person) preparing you for the workplace, as-well as having a really great career service team and good job shop opportunities. Outside of employability, I really enjoy the Kent facilities, like the sensory room for those who are neurodivergent, and also the food spots are actually really cheap but tasty! But I definitely have to say the preparation for after the degree is particularly good ! read more

Kent has been a decent experience, I believe this is the sort of uni that you will enjoy if you make the most of it, there are a range of societies that you can choose from I myself chose to join the basketball society and cheer society in my second year of study alongside that was a member of the unis Acs society. The facilities are pretty good with a lot of communal student areas for you and your friends. The university also has a lot of event opportunities to meet people which ranges from clubbing events to social games days which has made the experience pretty enjoyable and feel inclusive. read more

My experience as an international student at the University of Kent has been mixed but generally positive. The campus and facilities were acceptable but could be improved to make student life more comfortable. There is a reasonable selection of clubs and societies, although opportunities for engagement could be more varied. The Students’ Union organizes good events and makes an effort to represent students’ interests. The careers service has been helpful and communicates well when support is needed. One of the strongest aspects of the university is the Wi-Fi, which has been fast and reliable throughout my studies. read more

I've had an amazing time at the University of Kent and wouldn't change it for the world. From day one, the campus blew me away — it's green, spacious, and genuinely beautiful, with great study spaces and social areas dotted around everywhere you look. The teaching quality has been really impressive. My lecturers clearly know their stuff and are passionate about what they teach, which makes even the toughest topics more engaging. Seminars are a great chance to dig deeper and actually discuss ideas, rather than just sit and listen. Canterbury itself is a brilliant city to be a student in — it's got a buzzing high street, loads of great spots to eat and hang out, and it's close enough to London for day trips or weekend adventures. The campus location strikes the perfect balance between a peaceful place to study and easy access to city life. I've met people from all over the world, joined societies I never expected to enjoy, and made friends for life. read more

Kent has been a good fit for me and I’ve enjoyed studying here. While this might not be everyone’s preference, I like how peaceful and calm campus is and then if I want to go into the busier town, it’s only a 10 min bus from Campus. My lectures have been engaging and interesting, and the facilities on campus are all really accessible and useful to have. read more

I haven’t moved in yet, but I’ve been in contact with Alice, the General Manager of Parham Student Village, via email since January 2026 through to March 2026. She has been incredibly responsive to all of my questions and very reassuring throughout (especially given the change in management during this time) which I appreciate a lot! I’m not sure what the transition has looked like behind the scenes, but Alice has handled it exceptionally well. Her communication has been clear, supportive, and consistently helpful. She truly exemplifies excellent customer service (honestly 10/10) and her emails have made the whole process much smoother. read more

I have lived at Palamon Court for the past four years, and it has truly been a home away from home for me as an international student. It has always felt like more than just accommodation it is a real community. The events Palamon hosts make a huge difference, from free breakfasts and pizza nights to Valentine’s treats and Christmas dinners. These bring everyone together and make it easy to meet people living right next door, which is especially meaningful when living away from home. Safety has always been excellent, with 24/7 security at reception, alongside great facilities such as study rooms, party rooms, and a cinema room. What truly sets Palamon Court apart is the staff. Everyone is kind and welcoming, always going the extra mile. The girls at reception are all incredible, but a special thank you goes to Amber and Megan, who are consistently generous, and patient. I would also like to thank the housekeeping team and the maintenance team for their ongoing help and care. read more
