I have really enjoyed my time at the Univerisity of Kent so far. There are so many different types of people here and you are bound to find amazing people you will bond with. The facilities are nice! the library has such a vast set of books that you will truly be able to find anything you could possibly want. And if it is not on campus, it's available on the online library. There is alot of support for career and academic progression and the staff are all very kind and want to help. My main complaint would be that eduroam often doesn't work, but the IT team are quite supportive and the guest wifi is really consistent when needed. read more

University of Kent
The university is overall pretty good, I believe that more could be offered for students during freshers week as it seemed to be the bare minimum compared to other universities. My course is spot on as it stands, besides from a minor room error on the timetable. Everyone is friendly, and it seems like campus security are on top of everything! read more

The campus is stunning with the wide range of facilities and beautiful green areas with tons of wildlife and nature which is always great to see it almost on my doorstep. The shops and leisure facilities have a large supply of items / equipment for the various clubs / activities that are held on campus. It is also amazing as first years get a free student membership just for joining which is a massive help and encourages us first years to goo outside socialise whilst also having time to study. The distinct range of societies run by the KSU (Kent Student Union) really help 1st years like myself to meet others in higher years or even similar courses and with the large amount of societies there is basically a club for everyone! Overall, I love this university and its campus as it is easy to navigate due to good signage and friendly staff / students to help direct each other in the right direction. Plus, the sense of community is apparent and strong! I'm really looking forward to it! read more

Students love the diverse clubs and societies (from music to sports) offered through the active Kent Students' Union (KSU), which also runs venues like Woody's Bar and provides student jobs. The Careers and Employability Service is highly praised for support with CVs, jobs, and post-grad opportunities lasting up to 3 years after uni. WiFi gets mixed reviews - some find it reliable while others report issues. Overall, Kent seems to offer vibrant student life with supportive services and lovely surroundings, though individual experiences vary. read more
