Theology and Religion, BA Hons FullTime

The course is a bit too broad. They try so hard to be 'inclusive' and 'open-minded' that a lot of the basics and base information you need is quickly glossed over. If you are looking for a traditional theology degree you can definitely get that here but you will have to go out of your way and chase it a bit more. The course lets you choose what you want to get from it. You have a lot of freedom to take the classes that interest you and aren't just forced a certain set of classes for all three years. I really enjoy my course and love the information I am learning. It is consistently challenging and exciting, but definitely not easy. I highly recommend this program for those with a passion for humanities looking at it through the questions surrounding God and religion.

been taught by at least 10 professors during this degree and only ONE has made my time in the programme at Exeter feel like it was worth my while. majorly depressing. i think the professors need to take a good hard look at their teaching abilities and the way they plan their curriculum. the majority are really nasty and put on fake smiles. read more
