I'm an international student at the University of Exeter, and my experience has been a mix of genuinely supportive services and areas that still need improvement. What stood out the most to me was how approachable the careers team is - whenever I needed guidance, they responded clearly and didn't make me feel rushed. It really helped me understand the UK job market better. The campus environment is also amazing for studying. There are plenty of quiet spots, and the WiFi is reliable enough for both studying and entertainment, although there are occasional weak spots during peak hours. One thing I appreciated was the number of student-led events. They're regular, well-organised, and make it much easier to meet people, especially if you're new to the UK like me. Overall, here is a place where you can grow academically and personally, as long as you make use of the services offered. It's not perfect, but it genuinely feels like the university cares about student wellbeing. read more
