University of Exeter
The University of Exeter has a standout campus due to plenty of green spaces, which are a lovely environment to walk through between lectures and to spend time studying and socialising outdoors. The campus is very well kept and feels safe to live in due to a secure estate patrol presence. The University has excellent facilities for studying including libraries and study spaces, and a wide range of sporting facilities which cater to all ability levels. Further, the University has a huge range of available clubs and societies to join, which make it easy to meet new people, build new friendships and explore new interests. These clubs and societies are the best way to feel part of the universities community. The Students' Union enhances student life in Exeter by organising events throughout the year and ensuring student voices are represented. Additionally, the Careers Service provides guidance, workshops and employability support for placements, internships and life after graduation. read more

Generally, my experience at UoE is a really supported one. I feel like staff really go out of their way to help, to improve the current courses, classes etc. They always encourage us to leave feedback. In terms of facilities, St Lukes campus is a really aesthetic, nice place to be. The cafe is excellent, there is a gym on site- the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the gym is really small- I think it should definiately be expanded but I know there is not currently enough space for this. In terms of clubs and socieites, we have so many and lots of students are really well involved. Careers services are provided through handshake and you can always book a meeting with a careers advisor. WiFi is good apart from in LSRCs last year and the RILD read more

While the facilities are great, most on-campus shops and cafes are rather expensive, making it harsher for students who are in-between long lectures. The campus in itself is gorgeous, clean, and has a good variety of different study spaces with mostly good access to wifi. read more

My experience at Walnut Gardens (Study Inn, Exeter) has been very positive. The accommodation is modern, clean, and comfortable, with well-designed rooms that make studying and living easy. The facilities and social spaces create a friendly community, and the location is convenient for university and daily needs. The staff are also helpful and supportive. Although there are minor issues like occasional maintenance delays, overall it’s a great place for students to live. read more

Generally has been really good, lots of modern facilities. Unfortunately it’s super difficult to find anywhere on campus to study, especially in the afternoon, which is quite annoying if you don’t live on campus. Almost everything is within walking distance, and the campus is about 20 mins from the city centre. read more
