I have my tuitions paid for me but the course is so full with opportunities for growth and learning new things i think it is definitely worth it :). I love my tutors they are so helpful and give me great advice, they always know how to expand on my ideas and push me to my full potential. They also make sure to give us ideas on how we can progress into the career space, which is especially helpful as the arts can be notoriously tricky to get into.

The course is everything I wanted to acting as a gateway into specific art disciplines, if ind the teaching quality very effective and the content works, however I have found with the personal advisors it can be rather hit or miss as some are very much on the ball and very helpful and some less. Overall excellent. read more

So far my experience at this course has been ok but not all it's hyped up to be. I find the content of the course alright but the way it is taught may not be for everyone. If you are totally interested in art and are 100% sure you want a future in the creative sector, go for it (and I'm sure you'll enjoy it) but if you even feel slightly apprehensive I would take some time to consider before applying. After open days and lectures on the course I thought it'd be a freeing and enriching experience to learn new artistic methods and gain information on different specialisms but the lectures are just artists talking about their own work which has little to no relevance to the modules. I haven't gained any new skills or experiences to develop my art to a higher level of practise and still have no idea what I want to specialise in and if anything I'm considering changing courses next year. So just be sure of yourself before pursuing a creative career. read more

Loving general foundation! A nice social course and enjoying all the studio time. Tutors are helpful and the workload is manageable. We are part way through our trial blocks and it is interesting to explore all the different specialties we could pursue. Considering animation for next year as the employability rate is higher and it also combines my interest in both computer based drawing and hand drawing. read more

Haven't really learned anything yet, gives you a space for making your art (studio), being around other artists inspires ideas. A lot of self teaching and "learning through doing" rather than direct teaching read more

Pretty sound, though I'd recommend doing most if you're planning to progress into 2nd year. Sem1 I found a big lackluster, but sem2 was great and a brilliant intro into the 2nd year topics of study read more
