" Queen Mary University of London is incredible; it has not only supported my academic growth through its engaging courses, inspiring lecturers, and diverse resources, but it has also helped me develop personally by providing opportunities to build confidence, connect with people from different backgrounds, and discover new perspectives that continue to shape who I am today.
Very lovely uni and very lovely staff, the only major downside is the wi-fi
Teaching style , events and campus is wonderful
I am very grateful that I got chance to study in one of UK's prestigious institution.
It's an OK university, but reputationally and facility wise I wouldn't say it's outstanding.
All lectures are very clear and engaging. The library has lots of facilities and the campus is quite modern. Also all resources and learning material are all organised on qmplus with regular announcements and student forums.
Just joined but really like it so far! :)
Ideal university to study law! Best decision I ever made for my future career as the teaching quality is superb especially Land Law, which was one of the modules I was scared the most since everyone around me was telling me how hard it is. However our lecturer is an amazing person who made every lecture fun; and thanks to his teaching style I got a high 2.1 from his class.
It was great university for international students.
This university will meet your expectations.
To be honest, I was very surprised by the diversity range in this uni, starting from the lectures to the students. What I really liked from the 2nd to the 3rd year is the ability to choose modules that you are interested in, with a huge variety. I also like that these modules are up-to-date with the current world situation, which gives a clear vision and highlights the applicable modules' information.
Including all the staff members i.e Alexis, Emmanuel and others has stayed really helpful thought this year. Sincerely Harsh 301 E.
QM’s campus truly feels like a home away from home. It’s spacious, green and there’s always something going on!
Nice university, not very diverse
Loved QMUL. Honestly, the best student life. However, academic staff’s quality could be improved.
Overall, a decent experience at the university. The campus has a good environment for studying, and the infrastructure is solid. Teachers are approachable and generally available when needed. However, in terms of career support and job placements, there’s definitely room for improvement. That said, the academic side of things is well-managed, and the overall experience has been positive.
I had a great time! The accomodation was nice and was homey, especially the room. It had a beautiful view of downtown London (from my view) and waking up to it felt magical, especially with the wind open! That is honestly something I will remember. The staff were generally nice. The canal was super nice to walk alongside morning and night! Good memories! However, being at the back of the QMU campus is a bit inconvenient and takes a while to get to the nearest station, but that’s not much of a bother.
Best university in London! The campus is truly iconic and always so full of life, events, and culture to explore.
there are not enough light when its at night
Happy student at blithehale court. Angel really nice and always helpful
amazing in BlithehaleCourt. happyhere
I love staying here, good governance, all workers always care about our needs and safety, and we can be supported in time.
Really international environment, you can communicate with schoolmates from all over the world
Good school good campus but some things could be improved
In terms of university facilities, it is all very accessible, and help is always available. With the introduction of ASK QM I believe the process of asking for help and getting help is going to be even easier with clear directions for students.
I’ve gone to every lesson and I have participated in many career programmes which have really improved my personal and professional development.
Very good university to go to! Great lecturers and students who push you to your limit. Campus is easy to move around.
Overall, The university is good however the way QMUL is dealing with the camera under desks peeping up girls skirts isnt good enough,
Very nice place and I really love here
It’s a really good university.
Programs are well structured. Teachers work hard on their modules. Students' queries are dealt with in detail.
Good but need some more convienet facilities for students.
Great studying spacjng area and teachers
Great university great faculty and infrastructure
good experience! great service
Its great i love it! Thanks so much
I am enjoying my life as a PhD at QMUL
Sherren house is a great place to live, rooms are spacious and clean, offering ample storage space for personal belongings. The common areas, including the kitchen and lounge, are well-maintained, providing a great place to socialize and study. The location is ideal, with easy access to public transport and being close to campus facilities, staff is kind and friendly especially Sana, always ready to help in any matter, enjoying here.
The highlight of my university experience has been the support offered, whether it’s academic, career, or mental health. It’s been above and beyond and made me university journey easier and more enjoyable.
Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) has a vibrant and diverse campus with excellent academic facilities, libraries, and study spaces. The campus offers a mix of modern and historic buildings, green spaces, and a welcoming student community. There are plenty of dining options, student societies, and support services available. Located in East London, it has great transport links to central London. Overall, QMUL provides a well-rounded university experience with strong academic and social opportunities.
It’s okay but their campus is not the best and student support could be much better. As a graduate medical student, I’ve been told twice in the past month that they couldn’t help regarding some personal/financial matters. They haven’t even signposted me to the best places to get help! So the student support is awful but everything else in terms of teaching and reputation is good enough.
all good in the University, everyone is friendly.
It's usually good, but sometimes the network is not good.
Reception is good and helpful.
I loved my experience at Queen Mary
Very good accommodation everything is just perfect
Good university in London. One of the best universities

It’s good as a overall experience
This place is very nice that I have been staying since 4 months
Good. I enjoy the campus a lot.
Solid decent superb passable close
It's a very good place to stay and the staff are very helpful
Friendly staff, very helpful and nice
Careers counselling needs improvement
I have enjoyed my experience at uni
Love it! Love my course and the campus is a good size!
all good to be honest I feel like i chose the right university to broaden my horizons
Some lecture rooms do not fit the capacity of a class, so some student will have to sit on the steps during lectures. There are quite a lot of clubs to choose from, ranging from career and academic-focused to sports and hobbies. The wifi works most of the time but sometimes requires switching to the guest wifi.
It's great being a student here
Good college, I've learned a lot here.
A wonderful place with amazing people, and a special thanks to Mr. Rizwan for his exceptional support and assistance at the reception.
I am extremely happy! I highly recommend to everyone
Staff is friendly and always willing to play pool with you. Facilities available are also amazing
Great university, nice professors
Really good university ! Im enjoying my time
Very clean and friendly campus
being part of the netball society is very fun
i love bart’s and its facilities
big spacious campus a lot of facilities and places to study, responsive staff, nice buildings, overall good organisation and library in mile end is open 24/7 which is very useful.
QMUL is an all-round amazing university, with a beautiful campus and facilities. Its education is world class due to academics being part of teaching and research simultaneously. Despite these positives, its ranking in the university charts has fallen which makes it a less appealing Russel Group for people to join.
ervery is ok ,People working here are very nice
I love Queen Mary and everything that the university has had to offer. I had a great and eventful time these last three years of my course.
good university, friendly student body
A great university with good name and the most interesting courses. The help is prompt and always available. Most courses are beautifully modulated and becomes easy to match exactly what you are looking for.
My two years at Queen Mary has been eyeopening, from the helpful staff of faculty to the many amazing individuals I have met through participation of societies as well as the core modules that I have taken part in
Absolutely awful university. Located in East London & is literally awful.
A good university, good teaching staff. It just kind of feels that people are not very social and friendly, quite hard to fit in certain groups. It does feel like people segregate themselves. But other than that, it is a good university, great facilities overall.
amazing time there ! i had the best time with my friends
I think QMUL is a great place for someone who is an undergraduate. From what I have seen, the clubs and social, the student union in general, are very active and have a lot to offer. As a postgraduate, i would say here you would more focus on your academic goals. During your studies, you are not asked to work in a lot of groups or “team up” with your peers. It is really academic focused and, if you want, you can work independently. I really like that as group works are not really my thing when you are asked to do a graded assignment. Compared to my experience back in the Netherlands, where i had to work A LOT with others (many times my grades where ruined by that), I like that now I am responsible for my own fate. Ofc it depends on the programme you are doing, but when it comes to forensic psychology, it is like that :)
I really like the academic staff. Each professor is dedicated and wants us to achieve our best. Moreover the great diversity of the students is something I really appreciate here. The other administrative staff is also very polite and try to help as much as they can.
I really like the university it was my first option. But sometimes there are problems with Wi-Fi in one of the lecture halls. But overall everything is good
Chill uni experience, people are generally kind and easy to talk to
Warm, welcoming and fun campus atmosphere. Everyone is super friendly and willing to help, the facilities are great and the on campus accommodation is a great plus
Everything is a good and fine, but it can be best if they utilise everyone
Love my course , IT and everything works amazingly well. Staff is really nice. Only campus uni in London which is cool. Chill vibes. Very diverse.
I think the university actually makes efforts to get placements but they are not very successful with reaching out to students. So many of the times students are not even aware of the placement events that are going on in the university.
My experience at QMUL thus far has been great. The lecturers and tutors are very good and everyone on campus is super nice.
Wifi could be better and there should be cheap meal plans for students.
Good university with good facilities, good support
Good but could be better in terms of quality
Great university to do your masters degree at. Loads of support from staff members and lecturers
