Canvas Point Campus really exceeded my expectations. It is very well located, in a safe area, and has excellent transport links, with bus routes to the city centre and the Red Line Luas nearby. The facilities are always very clean, and the common areas are great both for studying and for socialising. In addition, the campus is close to a wide variety of cafés and a shopping centre, which makes daily life very convenient.

Great experience at Trinity the campus is great and services are useful as long at you put effort and commit to using them. Something for everyone.
The academics are genuinely good. The professors actually know their stuff, and they push you to think deeper rather than just memorize. The library is insane—like, if you need to study, you’ll find a quiet corner. My courses have been challenging but fair.Dublin itself is great. The city’s vibrant, lots to do, cafes everywhere. The campus is beautiful too—walking through those old buildings feels special. And yeah, everyone knows Trinity’s name, which helps when you’re thinking about jobs later.he downsides? Cost of living is brutal. My rent keeps going up, and even grabbing coffee costs a bit. The weather also does your head in—it’s grey and rainy most days. Coming from India, I wasn’t ready for that. And coursework can get heavy; I’ve had semesters where I felt buried in readings and assignments.
It’s pretty good though it could be cleaned and the Wi-Fi could definitely be improved in the library

Trinity College Dublin offers a great balance of academic excellence and vibrant student life. The campus is beautiful and inspiring, right in the heart of the city. The professors are knowledgeable and supportive, and there are plenty of opportunities to get involved beyond the classroom. Overall, it’s an enriching and memorable place to study.
A lot worse than UCC in terms of clubs and societies and things to do in general
Apartment rent is too expensive and not worth the cost. Next year's weekly rent will be nearly twenty euros more. Studio can only choose 51weeks.
This is a great location and right next to Luas green station. Walking distance to everywhere and very safe environment. Amazing green outdoor space for you to enjoy your time as well.

Being a student at trinity has been a really good experience. I have learned alot from being a student in this university and this city as well.
Very prestigious university with excellent teaching staff and facilities. Every society and sports team is available in Trinity with great areas libraries to study and find learning resources. The wifi does reach all around campus and does have good speed but can be a bit unreliable. Overall a great place to study if your domestic or coming from abroad!

This university is a great one with a lot of opportunities to offer fot its students. The people here are great and the academic calendar can not be better. However, some moduals are rather dull and devinatelly require aditional teaching materials.
I love studying at TCD. The people are amazing and the course is so fascinating. The campus is also beautiful. I think TCD is a fantastic place to grow and make connections with lifelong friends.
Trinity College Dublin has been brilliant so far as a first year. The campus is welcoming, with many spaces for students to work and hang out. My course has many dedicated staff members and I'm really enjoying my experience at uni! I still have yet to explore most of the campus! I've had a couple of issues with the Blackboard interface that we use to upload work. Sadly, in the first term, I lived roughly two hours from campus via public transport and was therefore unable to participate in many societies, along with the tours provided later in the evening and meetings with the tutors, as my last bus left around half seven, when the meetings with tutors started.
Great university with fantastic teaching , incredibly boring peers
Trinity does offer a creative learning environment however the university's interest sometimes seem unclear due to its importance placed on tourism and withholding a not so justified first place spot country wise. Each faculty is competent is their respective domain with passionate researchers but their is a lack of inter-disciplinary communication.

Great university and great location
I must admit there are not many things I could complain about. As a medicine student, we have a great set of support from the faculty listening attentively to our every whim, query and worries. We are continuously reassured that we can always reach out for help. Campus is gorgeous and it looks magical in the evenings, sadly, as a medical student my time is spent in separated building, but even a brief visit to the main campus never fails to remind me of its charm. Moreover, its central location is a great advantage - especially for an escape from the study rooms. Within a couple of minutes, one can find themselves in a cosy cafe or caught in the middle of a busy shopping spree. I mustn’t forget to highlight the societies. There are sooo many of them and the people there are just so nice. They truly make it all the less intimidating trying a brand new hobby. Oh, and there is a sauna! Pretty much all a student needs. If it were up to me, I would ban those seagulls, but that might be me.

I’ve never thought I could be a part of trinity but here i am! College is beautiful and well facilitated, absolutely love the atmosphere here! Professors are really nice and helpful. As an international student who traveled half the world to a new country to study for the first time, I feel welcomed in trinity, and it offered me chances to meet many nice people. I’m a really introvert person and sometimes I don’t even feel blended in at home so I was really nervous about coming to a new place and meeting new people. But trinity reassured me that I can feel comfortable meeting new people and I did make a couple of friends here which I am really grateful for.
Eine rundum tolle, international anerkannte Institution. Es war ein tolles Erlebnis, an dieser Uni studieren zu dürfen. Organisatorisch würde ich es als internationaler Student vorziehen, wenn man die Klausurtermine bereits zum Semesterbeginn einsehen könnte, sodass man hiervon teilweise auch seine Modulwahl abhängig machen kann! Ansonsten eine super Zeit gewesen!
Trinity is great. I recently switched degrees from theoretical physics to music and although there was a lot of "paperwork" to get through, we got there eventually! I'm also chair of the computer science society and it has been such a fun experience. I'm also the soloist for Trinity Orchestra for next semester and I am so happy to have this opportunity. The facilities Trinity offer are so good too. There's places to get food, there's a GP for when you're sick, and there's a great counselling service too.
Amazing experience. Truly a home away from home. It shaped me into the person I am today and I'm so grateful!
Highlight Thomas Street offers a fantastic student experience in a prime city-centre location. It’s just minutes’ walk from top universities and colleges, and surrounded by shops, cafés, restaurants and transport links — perfect for busy student life.  The building has modern, comfortable rooms with all essential bills included, fast Wi-Fi, secure access and CCTV, and an on-site team who are accessible and supportive. Communal facilities like the gym, study spaces, lounge, games area and roof terrace make it easy to balance study and socialising.  Overall, it’s a welcoming, well-equipped base for students wanting convenience, community, and a positive living environment in Dublin.
It’s a great historical campus and the quality of teaching is great.
Central campus is good though administration is sometimes lacking

Trinity has a beautiful campus. There are loads of student zones to chill out or study. It is right in the centre of the city with lovely places to eat or get coffee.
My experience at Trinity has had its ups and downs. It’s a great college for meeting people, with plenty of clubs and societies to get involved in. However, some campus facilities could be improved, particularly the heating and access to microwaves in kitchens. Placement and graduate job opportunities in STEM are not as well advertised as those in business, which can make it harder to find relevant options. On the positive side, the Wi-Fi on campus is reliable, and the Students’ Union does an excellent job representing students, organizing protests, and standing up for our rights.

Trinity really benefits from its city centre location, making it very accessible. The facilities are of a high standard on a whole. However I think there could be more student spaces for things like eating lunch etc.
Trinity has been fun so far the campus is really pretty and there’s affordable shops all around. Buses are pretty frequently including the luas and are of close walking distance to the school. The only thing I would say is that when you’re running to cause there’s so much tourists on campus and they walk so slowly so it’s annoying just trying to get past them.
After being in exchange I came to realise just how great I had it back in trinity it is the most welcoming and supportive community of friends and teachers to really grow as a person
Trinity college is a beautiful campus and an incredible library complex. There are many green areas, rooms and corners of the campus to relax or socialise. however, the WiFi can be patchy sometimes, and the admin/organisational side is not good at all.

My experience in trinity college has been a lovely one, only complain is the amount of tourists bombarding the college😭apart from that, it is an accessible college with loads of societies, clubs, so on and so forth. You never really get bored

The campus is historic and beautiful however the facilities are also old and not so pretty. The students are what really make it. So welcoming and kind and diverse. The careers service is notoriously lacking and does not have up to date information. Better information is spread through word of mouth.

My campus is not near the actual trinity campus. It does not facilitate engagement by any means. There is not a place to eat lunch and we have to sit on the floor. I am in a health science course

environment is well established in regards to joining societies. a wide range to join and it makes making friends less challenging and it allows you to build on your own interests. however when problems arise contacting the academic registry has been an issue that has been felt by many students, further works need to be done in this sector so students can be alleviated of any enquiries they have.
Overall a great University. I've had a great time and met great people. It's global standing does open up a lot of opportunities too, it's part of some great programs and has amazing connections with other universities around the world.
Trinity has a lovely campus in general but it’s super expensive with it being in the city centre and with it being a tourist attraction it can be pretty chaotic on campus. Trinity semesters are short which is good but they’re very intense in return
Trinity College is the number 1 University in Ireland with stunning architecture, great facilities and situated right in the heart of Dublin City Center. I will graduate from TCD this November with a first class honours in GENERAL NURSING
My University experience has been nothing but great so far! Starting can be such a scary experience but I felt as through I could ease straight in from the amazing support from the university community. The facilities available make day to day life so much easier and the overall atmosphere makes me looking forward to going in everyday!
The college is very supportive, I am a TAP students and the teachers are great and we have plenty of resources and help. The facilities are nice although not plenty of space for eating, but the main campus is beautiful .

Very little focus on sports, mainly focused on academics
I’m currently a 1st year student studying nursing in Trinity College Dublin, and I am really enjoying it so far. The lecturers are helpful and are passionate about their modules. The lectures are relevant and help build on our knowledge as students. The campus is right in the city centre, making it accessible to various shops and restaurants around the city, while also being very walkable. There are various facilities around the campus for students, however it doesn’t feel sufficient. The student facilities I have visited are always really busy and there is also no centralised space for these student facilities as they are scattered on sites throughout the different schools within the college. I have also found that not all buildings in the college are accessible for students with physical disabilities. There are many ramps and lifts available but they are often broken and outdated. If I were to rate my student experience so far, it would be an 8/10!
There are large discrepancies in workload and quality of classes between degrees, so I can’t speak for everyone. I do think there are a lot of good societies and events, I just personally havent had much time to indulge in them myself
Great university with amazing clubs, societies and social life. Depending on the discipline the university can be quite disorganised with timetabling and admin. Otherwise great uni experience and beautiful main campus !
The uni itself if great, campus is good, with a lot of amenities, although some (especially in the nursing building need working on/fixing) clean campus, accessible buildings, food and beverages easily available. The lectures are for the most part well carried out and majority of the faculty are great. Organisation and communication throughout most regards to the college could be worked on but over all it’s a great university.

Love being a trinity student!!
Overall, I found my college experience here to be an enjoyable one. However, I find the grading within the college to be very skewed towards lower results. A 70% here is equated to a 90% in general, as an excellent exam is usually give such a mark. This percentage looks poor on transcripts even though you may be amongst the highest performing in your class. I find it discouraging and struggle to feel a sense of pride for my results when the figures represent a different picture of my performance. I also find the overall communication and organization of the college to be below average.
Being in Dublin City centre, it’s difficult for TCD to expand, therefore there’s a lack of facilities on campus. Students have to travel to use certain facilities. There’s also a lack of student accommodation. There are a multitude of clubs and society, for everybody’s interests.
The lecturers are quite good and are interested in the topic to which they are teaching, the campus has a lovely feel to it too
I love the accessibility of the location, however would love more downtime space if you need to rest. Also more student on-campus coffee shops for health science students
it’s been a good experience, health science students are a bit isolated in terms of their campus. The societies are amazing and a good way to meet people. The campus is beautiful and can’t be faulted.
The university is very inviting with lots of clubs to join and opportunities for everyone to try something new. I’ve recently tried women’s indoor rowing for the first time, and I’ve absolutely loved it. Trying something new can be quite scary, but I had a blast and felt really supported the whole time.
I came to Trinity for its diversity of students and its biology course. The societies and clubs are excellent and there is an enormous range of them. There really is something for everyone.
the money is spent where the tourists go, not really where the students go. The goldsmith bathroom for instance had one stall which didn't even have a latch, so we had to use a piece of cardboard to keep it closed for a month. The gym likes to leave broken equipment for 1-4 months before being fixed or removed, and their lift is constantly broken. A lot of buildings are stupidly laid out or have annoying design choices.

Can't really say much about the uni as a whole, but the Classics department is great. Amazing professors, interesting subject matter, and good opportunities.
I absolutely loved my experience here! The common area is a fantastic place to relax and socialize with friends. It’s always clean, well-organized, and has a welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to connect with others. The people here are truly amazing, creating a warm and friendly community. Zoie, the manager, is incredibly kind and approachable—she goes above and beyond to ensure everyone feels comfortable and at home. One of the highlights of this place is the beautiful terrace, which offers a breathtaking view of the mountains, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Spending time here has been an unforgettable experience, and I’ve built lifelong friendships that I will always cherish. I truly hope that anyone who comes here will have just as wonderful a time as I have!
Trinity has good enthusiasm to care for their students, but it doesn’t always follow through in their delivery. Curriculums can be packed with good topics to cover, but the amount of lectures and the quality is usually overwhelming. Professors and credited researchers are more than qualified to present to students, but it is often the case where these people are incredibly smart but not good teachers. Overall, while the idea of Trinity as a college is one of the best in Ireland and potentially Europe, the students often do not experience that excellence, and many would not recommend to others.
Haven’t been here very long yet, but so far I am really enjoying my time at Trinity (even if navigation isn’t always the easiest :))
