What are the top reasons for choosing Highlight Parkgate?
We spoke to Fresh to find out more:
1. The accommodation is centrally located and within easy reach of the city's universities.
2. Everything you need right on your doorstep, including convenience stores, pubs, cafes and restaurants.
3. Inside the building, you can find fantastic social spaces such as a courtyard, games area, lounge and communal kitchen.
4. If you are looking to meet your neighbours, you can attend one of the many residents’ events hosted throughout the year.
5. Residents can benefit from having a gym, vending machine, study room, Wi-Fi and cycle store.
6. There is a security team, an on-site residents’ team and CCTV for added security.
Rooms:
Highlight Parkgate offers residents a selection of modern en-suite and studio rooms. Each room has been purposefully designed and comes furnished with all the essentials, so all you need to do is simply move in and add your finishing touches.
I must admit that the Bronze room, although incredibly small for the prize - as most housing in Dublin - is modern and quite comfortable. It has a small double bed which is good enough even if two people want to sleep on it. The lights and switches are well located and there are plenty, so there is no need for extension cords - another point in favour. They come with an en-suite bathroom which is distinctively the best feature as the bathroom itself is comparatively quite big. Now with the downsides. The shower has virtually no pressure most of the times. The shower head is fixed, which is a problem if you're either too tall or too short for it. Plus, it is a massive inconvenience if you have any kind of dye in your hair, since the water splatter means that you will inevitably stain the plaster between tiles inside the shower. The staff does not deal well with anti-social behaviour, resulting in reoccurrence (1 year of it is more than enough, thank you). This is the maximum I can write
