I've been studying for my postgraduate degree at the College of Medicine and Dentistry (Ulster University, Birmingham Campus) for two months now. Overall, it's been a great experience. I haven't felt stressed or overwhelmed at all; in fact, it's a lot more fun than my bachelor's degree! read more

if you’re an international student here, be careful. no one on that campus is even informed or trained well enough to handle international student matters. they tell you the basic rules in the beginning but once classes actually start… it’s like they’ve never had an international student in the history of Ulster ever. it’s like none of them know UKVI monitoring regulations, and i’ve been expected to specifically email everybody asking every possible question about any scenario to understand the restrictions and requirements. it’s like they’re gatekeeping you from keeping your visa. i’ve near lost my visa COMPLETELY multiple times due to their tardiness and/or incompetence to inform me of an academic requirement that only they would know and is 100% their responsibility to uphold. read more
