Omg! I love my university. It is a lovely campus the modern side east campus and the not so Modern west campus. I love the water running through, the swans and ducks. Real life Barbie feels. I love my course as well and the seminars. There are so many events to attend almost everyday. All in all I highly recommend read more

A nice single-room apartment with a great view outside. On a nice day, when you pull the curtains, you might even have a brief illusion that "life is okay". The facilities are also quite complete, with a kitchen and bathroom available. In theory, you could lead a refined life - but in reality, you usually just order takeout. The only somewhat interesting aspect is the washing machine in the laundry room. Occasionally, it enters a philosophical mode: after swiping the card, it doesn't move, and when you don't look at it, it starts counting down. It's all about competing with humans. Fortunately, the staff are quite friendly. As soon as you show a little expression of wanting to confront the washing machine, they usually come to help you solve the problem. Overall, it's quite comfortable to live there. The only thing that requires developing a relationship is probably those washing machines. read more

The University of York has truly been a dream for me. I am a PhD Visiting Student at the School of Arts and Creative Technologies, and there are two well-equipped buildings across the two campuses. There are many practice rooms and good, well-tuned pianos available for study. The reception staff are always very helpful, and my supervisor has been incredibly welcoming, supportive, and actively involved in helping me with my activities during this semester. read more
