Essential Subjects: Biology and a second Science (or equivalent) are essential. We consider the following subjects as a second Science: Chemistry, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Further Maths, Geography, Geology, Maths, Physical Education, Physics, Psychology or Statistics. Human Biology is also accepted in place of Biology. Information: Applicants taking Science A Levels that include a practical component will be required to pass.

The course is generally interesting, and the teaching staff are generally good at their jobs, but some topics are given far more time than they need, and some of the harder ones are only given a couple of lectures, leaving people confused. Often instructions for coursework aren't given clearly, but otherwise communication with staff is good. read more
