It’s been going well I think the lectures could definitely be made more fun however when a subject that contains a lot of latin it makes the student less interested so it could be hard to somehow make it more interactive read more

As I started this year by carrying out a foundation year. I found it difficult to enjoy the course content as it was very similar to A Levels. But the teaching quality was better and I felt better knowing next year I have a solid understanding of how the department works and who I can speak to if I need advice. read more

I enjoy my course because I like the content in general however there is a lack of staff and resources so I feel we dont receive the level of teaching we pay for. There are very few seminars or small group sessions and so I dont feel like I know any of the staff or my personal tutor, however they are improving the tutor system. We have been given hardly any advice on future work and jobs apart from being told to apply for placements and a lot of it is not course specific. Some of the staff are good lectures but they all have too much going on to put their best efforts into teaching and other members of staff are knowledgable but not very good at teaching at all. read more

Lots of fun and very interesting. Dr. Baker is a superb lecturer and there are many others. You do get the odd lecturer that’s not great but that’s a rare occurrence. read more

I think tuition fees are too high but that's a different boat. The teaching is as good as an lecture where you're writing notes. A lot for the time we have to find out deadlines ect via other students which isn't so good. Personal tutor is amazing. Course content is good covering a wide variety of topics but haven't really been told much about jobs. read more
