My course is not on the list so i randomly pick one. The university's focus appears to prioritize business over student care. For instance, basic necessities like toilets and study areas are consistently unclean. Despite the substantial fees we pay, the benefits we receive from the university are quite limited. Opportunities such as access to sports clubs and free classes are scarce. The only redeeming factor seems to be the university's reputation, which unfortunately does not translate into practical skills for the working field. The education provided tends to be academically focused rather than practical in nature. read more

My course is not exactly what I expected, very finance focused and not much economics. Year 3 modules look better. Teaching quality is quite poor with lecturers using note from 2018 and not updating the information. Been massively impacted by the strikes and quite frankly noone seems to care. read more

Some lectures are bad. Micro gets really hard second semester but, yeah personal tutors it’s a draw bc some are good some are bad. If you like bass and edm and ket then yeah you’ll like this uni but, it not them up north really isn’t the place like I don’t like that stuff and a lot of uni events cater to that stuff but, the city itself is lovely love Manchester. The course is calm be prepared for maths if you’re not a math head semester two things get touch ngl still. But yeah it’s okay read more
