Some aspects of this course i have thoroughly enjoyed, in particular the law, ballistic and fires modules. However some of the chemistry aspects have been at times... painful. It is clear that the chemistry lecturers who teach these to both the chemists and forensics students at the same time in the same room do not care or cater for the forensics students... and honestly most of the forensics students are often left wondering why any of that particular content is relevant or being taught. There are pros and cons for every lecturer, some seem very interested in their field enjoy teaching you said field, others not so much. Every student is provided with a personal tutor who you are supposed to meet once a term, I am yet to have met mine in my first year but I also haven't wanted to meet mine they are always available to meet if need be and are very receptive to emails and easily contacted, the same can be said with all lecturers. read more
