Occupational Therapy, MOccTh FullTime

The course fee as an international student is relatively cheaper than compared to the rest of the UK. The tutors are all experienced occupational therapists of different specialties, they actively listen to our feedback to improve the teaching quality and conduct various types of interactive classes to facilitate discussion. Our cohort is divided into groups with assigned personal tutor each, we would meet the personal tutor in a regular basis to get to know how each other is doing in the course. The course content well covered the general occupational therapy practice and moved to different occupational therapy specialties, there are guest speakers to talk about their own specialties to let students gaining a more comprehensive knowledge about occupational therapists in real-life setting. Healthcare students in Aberdeen are also given a chance to participate in inter-professional learning, students get to know the roles and how the multi-disciplinary team works through the session. read more

I have really enjoyed the course so far. The modules included in the course cover a wide range of topics and are very interesting. There is a lot of practical labs each year and an opportunity to go on placement every year. The lectures are really supportive and are willing to help with both personal and university problems.
