I was initially attracted to the BSc (hons) Biomedical Science course due to the wide variety of subject areas and scientific disciplines that are covered within the course and the great breadth of knowledge I would be able to gain over a range of disciplines with the hope of progressing more specifically into one of these research disciplines upon further education. Once again the incorporation of practical learning and opportunities for placements embedded within the applied route, made me appreciate the importance RGU emphasised in practical learning and development of working skills throughout our degrees, and not solely on the theoretical aspects. the external support provided regarding information on potential career paths and opportunities for professional development has been excellent in allowing me to expand upon my skills out with my degree and give me a detailed understanding of the future opportunities my course brings. read more
