I think overall it is a good university, the facilities are good even though most of them aren't explained enough and you have to figure out a lot of the things in your own. Some lecturers are genuinely not understandable, they should look more into who they hire as lectures are important and most of them feel like they only read the slides and do nothing else. There's a lot of resources in the page where the modules are from even though the software could be clearer. The schedule its quite nice as sometimes they can change some of it if it's more convenient for you and if you have a valid reason. They have a code system for the attendance and if the wifi its not working sometimes it can be tricky and you can lose your attendance even though they don't out the most emphasis on having a perfect attendance. A lot of the work has to be done indepentendly but I suppose as in most of the universities, they're quite linient when it comes to marking so that gives you a good opportunity… read more

Overall a very good University for either domestic or international students to study in, but there are few facilities that it should need to take care of like elevators or card scanners in library. read more

The library is amazing and has many facilities that can be used for students, and the wifi is generally accessible, albeit a little unstable in the basement lecture theatres. The WiFi in the programming lectures doesn’t work and neither does data so it is sort of redundant. Could just set up a new router there. Lack of regularly stocked toilets and some lecture halls and overly hot/cold consistently read more

Queen Mary University of London is the only true campus in the heart of the city, which makes it a really unique place to study. I found their Welcome Week to be a great experience there were tons of events that helped me meet lots of new people during my postgrad. The campus has a vibrant international community and it’s nice to see familiar faces everywhere you go. The facilities are excellent, not just for studying but also for hanging out with friends in the cafes and social spaces. read more

So far my time at the university has been enjoyable; I really like exploring campus and think we have great lecture theatres. I did wish there could be more sockets in lecture theatres for charging devices maybe under desks or on the floor. Something more is for the campus maps to be updated and have a search bar system so it makes navigating classes easier, as the category system can be confusing. read more

Queen Mary has a large, structured and organised campus which is what I like. There are diverse societies that can cater to different interests and at reasonable prices. Careers Service could offer more opportunities for students in terms of placements, usually any information given regarding placements is very general and always the same.
