I thoroughly enjoy my course and am always learning something new all the time. It enables me to be both creative and intellectual with my work which I really enjoy and gives me the skills I need to put myself ahead of others in the industry as I will have that extra knowledge of architectural techniques that I can apply to my work. It isn’t just about picking out some nice colours and furniture to go in a room there is far more to it than that. In this course from day one they’ve treated us their colleagues not students , our mentors have taught us in the way the industry works . Teaching us everything from scratch giving us ample time to complete our work , as an IAD student we also get an amount of money in our student cards to buy the materials we need , we get all software’s from the university as well which is a great help. The course content is very challenging towards the end of year one , which I personally feel is great because from term one to term three we’ve only moved up the ladder with our learning which I felt was very challenging because the projects keep on getting bigger in aspects of designing which helps you prepare of year two. read more
