The workload is low, grades of 1° year don't count towards your graduation grade. Most of the teaching staff make the subjects interesting - tho there are exceptions, as in everything. read more

I adore my course. I’m so happy I chose this and not another. Between the lab work and the theory lessons we have, nothing is boring and there is always something to learn. The staff is great and always on point. read more

We learn so much, and I have really enjoyed the modules for first year. The lecturers are really great and they really do care for your wellbeing. The lectures and work can be tough in first year, which I found, but it will feel worth it in the end. You don't realise how much you have learned and developed during the year. They also allow you to go on a Jersey trip which will allow you to see behind the scenes of the zoo and talk to specialised guest lectures. read more

•we have had a big issue with the lectures just being boring presentations that the staff read from. this isn’t stimulating and sends you to sleep. •the teachers are nice. a select couple, even funny. but for the most part, completely unapproachable and can be very sarcastic and patronising. •the content covers a lot in great detail. however, relating this to exam and assignment content is almost impossible. •personal tutors for the part are nice and easy to talk too. however, approaching them can be hard and they can often not check on you or go behind your back and arrange stuff for you that you need consent for. •job prospects are slim... it’s animal related. let’s be real. read more

The course itself was fantastic but such a shame the staff couldn’t care less about its students wellbeing. Personal tutor? What personal tutor? The refusal to bend even slightly to make some minor adjustments so life is slightly easier for those struggling let’s them down dramatically. read more
