The lecturers and personal tutor help however they can and I’m always exited to turn up to a lesson to get habds on in either learning terminology, theory or completing practical work. The peiple in my class are also wonderful to work with and create a positive environment.

I generally like my course and how it is approached. There are some modules that due to their management have been a bit slow or unclear but in general lines it is well structured and designed. There's room for personal research and the staff is always happy to help and share their knowledge. read more

Staff are mostly great, most of them are incredibly helpful and will guide you through anything and everything. Being able to use the equipment is fabulous, but fair warning first year will not be like the open day - they do glamorise it. read more

It has a huge focus on experience so placement work is integrated within the course, which offers brilliant employability prospects. I don't really have meetings with my personal tutor ever so that's a bit weird. But it's a good course, It was sort of boring in 1st year but it's a lot better in 2nd. Very practical in 2nd year, and helps build confidence. Lots of good opportunities, and some great teachers. read more

There are some modules which are badly written as they force interdisciplinarity but are generally unrelated to what I wish to study - I emphasise that these are not written by either the media or philosophy department. I don't know if this set of modules will stay. I don't think that my course will be around soon because the Arts and Humanities department no longer exists as it has merged with Social Sciences. The philosophy department is shrinking. Media is alright, I prefer the media production side of the course. read more
