The campus is very spacious and there is always space for studying and meeting friends. There are lots of varied clubs, societies and activities too, many of which are free to join or the joining fee is reasonable for what is provided. I am a graphic design student and they recently refurbished the building we use. It's lovely, big, clean, and perfect for working and being creative in. The wifi isn't great anywhere, but it is eduroam, so that is a universal experience at any university. The student union is great, although often very busy (a sign of how good it is I suppose!). They have bubble tea, a takeaway, a co-op food, a bom bom cookies place, and a pita wraps place too - there is plenty of choice and decent nutritious options too for an emergency study-lunch. The volunteering sector there is also very good - with different welfare networks like LGBT and the Disabled Students Network. They work to make students feel included and also run very fun events for us to attend. read more

I studied at Loughborough University London for my MA. Honestly, the experience was a bit mixed. The good part is that it’s in London — so even though the campus itself is quite small and doesn’t have many facilities or student activities, you still have access to everything London offers: events, job opportunities, networking, etc. The building is modern and clean, and the classes are okay, though sometimes not very deep. The downside is that the London campus feels more like a small office than a university. It’s not super lively, and you don’t get that big uni community vibe. Also, the support and resources feel limited compared to what I expected. If you’re very independent and can make use of London on your own, it might work for you. But if you're looking for a full-on university experience, maybe not the best fit. read more

Loughborough although a small town is a mighty campus, being the largest in the UK it has such a bustling feel with something always going on. I really enjoy the nightlife there's lots of events and being a town everything is walking distance. The teachers also really seem to care about your education too. Loughborough are always putting on events for students which are inclusive and offer free events too, there's a huge community feel to this Uni. read more
