Overall it’s a nice course, but there are some aspects needs to improve. Course timetable is not ideal, for example, students could not fully learn programming in just two weeks and complete a wonderful coursework in one week. And some class is not that helpful to the future data science job, like research method. In some course, the teaching are too much focus on theories, and not helpful when doing the coursework. read more

with a CS degree, you are much more likely to get a CS-related job than your non-CS friends for their respective majors. And because the software industry pays developers very well, you'll at least live a very comfortable lifestyle even if you never strike it "rich" per se. So it's definitely not necessarily a "waste of time"; like any major, it is ultimately what you make of it, but CS in particular is remarkably free of the troubles so common in other majors (e.g. getting a job with a degree in Philosophy). The potential value of a CS degree is massive; you just have to realize that potential. read more

Fantastic overall - uni degrees costing 9k a year and more for international is daylight robbery. No course should cost that much - not just computer science. Teaching is great but 1-2 lecturers were vague or just reading the slides read more
