Situated by the Olympic Park at Stratford, Angel Lane is exclusively for students studying at King’s College London and is thirty-five-minutes away via Central Line to Holborn Station for King’s College. Westfield shopping centre is a five-minute walk away, with all the shops, bars, and restaurants you could ever need. Stratford station is also conveniently just five minutes away.

During the Summer a fruit-fly infestation broke in our kitchen. Everyone except me had already moved out by then and some people had left food out in the open before leaving (causing the infestation). I reported the issue to the front desk at night and they addressed it the very next morning. Not only did they clean out the flies but they also cleaned the entire kitchen as well as the corridor (going above and beyond). Perfect response time, much better than what I got used to living in other student accommodations.
Neeiam is pretty nice. Angel Lane is a very good place to live. And it is very convinient here.

I enjoyed my year at Angel Lane! Although it's a bit out of the main city, the transport links at the Stratford station are excellent and get you to Central London within 30 minutes, and having Westfield and the Stratford Center next door is super convenient. The reception is lovely and always happy to help and chat, and the rooms are pretty nice! I'm happy to have stayed here.

A wonderfully modern and sleek accommodation at a reasonable price, conveniently located within walking distance of Stratford station and Westfield shopping centre so there is much choice of where to shop. Very close to the nearest station (with amazing transport links) Its a bit further out of central than a lot of other uni accomodations, but the good transport makes up for it, so nobody really minds. Having westfield nearby is such a novelty that a lot of other accomodations dont have, so it’s definitely useful for last minute emergency shopping or a meal out. Reception staff are always so kind and helpful! Never had a bad experience with them. Starting uni and moving away from home can be super stressful, so it was really lovley to have staff that were so lovely to make it less daunting.

Nightmare student accommodation stories prepared me for a year of suffering, but Angel Lane is absolutely fantastic with supportive staff and friendly peers on site at all times. The value for money is wonderful so you don’t need to sacrifice exploring the city to pay rent, and regular social activities ensure that you get to know the people you’re living with and feel comfortable. Angel Lane clearly accounts for student priorities as well by creating an environment where studying is easy and enjoyable - the study room is spacious and overlooks the city, and there are several outdoor seating areas for when a breath of fresh air is needed.

Met all my closest friends living at angel lane! There’s always been places for us to hang out and it’s really made my first year uni experience. The staff have been lovely and the building is generally kept very clean. Only let downs is that Angel Lane is very expensive considering its location - there’s absolutely nothing to do in Stratford other than go to Westfield! However there are good transport links into Zones 1–2, and Hackney Wick is really fun for a night out (about a 25 minute walk from Angel Lane).

Booking at Angel Lane was a great decision! The location is perfect for any kind of shopping and travel. The only issue for me was getting to Denmark Hill for early classes. The rooms are beautifully done and designed. I stay in a studio and everything was so well thought out. My only problem was storage but it might just be because I have too many clothes. I haven’t used the social areas much but they always seemed nice. There are two laundry rooms so barely had to wait long for laundry. The highlight, however, was the reception team. Everyone is so lovely and friendly. I never felt nervous around them and always felt comfortable when I had to ask something.

well connected because of stratford centre, seems relatively far from uni but central line makes the trip quick (to strand) plus night tube staff is helpful and you genuinely save money by living in stratford bc food/shopping in general is cheaper in stratford centre westfield is also nearby so easy to do your moving in shop

Hands down the best student accommodation. Reception staff are the friendliest and most helpful I've ever encountered. Facilities are clean, much newer than other places and there's lots of spaces to socialise and study. Laundry actually works and there are usually spare machines if you come at the right time like in the mornings, which is something you don't always get living in student halls. Heating works well and I've never had any issues with water or electricity. Location is great as the accom is just around 3-5 minutes away from Stratford station, and there are many supermarkets to choose from as well as Stratford Centre and Westfield just nearby. No complaints!

Angel Lane is by far the best student residence I've lived in - thanks in large part to the lovely Reception team and other staff on site who are attentive, caring and incredibly helpful. The residence is friendly, has plenty of study/social spaces, hosts different events where you can meet other students and is close to King's Strand/Waterloo/Guy's campuses as well as various social and other spaces in East London. If you're looking for a warm home away from home, it's worth choosing Angel Lane :)

I have stayed at this accommodation for all 3 years of my degree because how pleasant my experience has been. It is a great location, everything you would need is within a 5-10 minute walk and the closest station is well connected to most tube lines. The building is well managed and maintained by the loveliest staff who are always readily available for help. I’ve never had an issues with this accommodation and would highly recommend it to future students.

So far Angel Lane’s been amazing! Room sizes are a little small but I love the courtyard, terraces and sitting spaces- provides a very social setting . The morning music in the lobby is also great. The reception staff is also fantastic especially Neelam who’s a gem of a person.

Although located in the crazy-lively Startford, Angel Lane has a outstanding security and helpful receptionists. The residence has various amenities and irresistible social spaces. Been Living here in Angel Lane for a whole academic year including the summer. Lived in other accommodations but in all honesty no other had a better staff! I would give it more than 5 starts if I could, the property team is EXTREMELY nice, considerate and helpful! They have never let me down any time I been to the reception desk! Not even once which is very rare in student accommodations. All of them are very helpful and know how to act in bad situations I didnt expect myself to be put in. Also, maintenance is so great as everytime I went to report an issue during a week day, next morning its solved immediatly! Everyone on the team is awesome but special special thanks to Tara, Paul and Neezlam!

The past 1 year that I have been staying here has been the best! The common spaces are always clean. The open spaces are well maintained all year round and the maintenance is prompt. I big shout-out to Neelam for organising some of the best breakfasts in the accommodation for us and always being such a joy to talk to. And Tara for being super helpful with all sorts of requests and queries I would make as an international student. All the staff is really kind and willing to help at all times and greet you with the biggest smiles. I wish my course was not getting over so soon as I would love to continue staying here!

I stayed here for my first year and for a short period in my third year, Angel Lane has always been excellent. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, I would highly recommend it to KCL students. Angel Lane is surrounded by fantastic amenities and is close to the Stratford underground station. Although it being further away from campus than other KCL accommodations means a longer journey to campus, I would recommend it over the other halls due to the local amenities (especially the large supermarkets with more affordable prices, which are almost impossible to come by in central London), social spaces, and the quality of rooms being better value for money than other KCL halls. The staff are also great, a big thank you to Neelam who has been exceptionally helpful and brings great energy making students feel at home.

I stayed in Angel Lane last year for 52 weeks and I had a really great experience, which encouraged me to stay here again. I love the terraces, the courtyard and the common room areas. The staff are also lovely, including the housekeepers, and they have helped me when I had concerns. For example, Neelam acted as an important point of contact and support when I was having issues with my flatmate. She assured me that i have every right to raise my concerns, that I can come to her for support at any point and she informed me about the welfare team. Other staff members have contributed to my positive experience include the Russian housekeeper, there was another lady at reception who always greets me when I enter or leave (she's quite short and has long hair) and Timea is a warm person.

I, as a foreign student, had sometime felt loneliness while I had stayed in a flat share with before moving in here. Studying abroad is not always positive and enjoyable time and it often comes with some difficult times such as overwhelming loads of assignments, part-time job, undecided future prospects of career, and sadly sometimes racial discriminations in the society. I have experienced all of them during my stay in London since last September. This experience sometimes drug me into feeling down. But after I moved in Angel Lane, I always get energy from the friendly and supportive staff, who treat me fairly regardless of my social status as a Asian and student. Whenever I come home and hear voices of the staff and feel lively energy there, I feel recharged.
