Staff very understanding of my financial situation and greatly helped me throughout the year, meaning I didnt have to stress too much. The best part of the accommodation by far was Skai, a lovely lady who was my first point of contact about most issues. Shes incredibly sweet, caring, and always made sure the accommodation was clean, can't say enough good things about her.

All the Answers You Need About Student Accommodation
What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

It’s very good but too expensive. I feel that increasing the price next is unnecessary
Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear you have found the site enjoyable and suitable to your needs. We offer competitive prices for accommodation and due to ongoing increases in the utility bills we have had to increase the price, however the rent is still competitive compared to other relative accommodation units within the area.
Absolutely horrible. They do nothing to help out when you have an issue with others and they simply do not care. They said fake things about the lease and tried to change the contract to kick us out early without having us sign a new one. They had highly disruptive works going on throughout exam season and people came into my flat and left it with dirt all over so I had to clean for 2 hours. The actual cleaner is very nice and does well. she’s the only good thing about the place but cleaning day is only on Tuesdays so if you have a disgusting flatmate (which Sanctuary will do nothing about) it’s pointless. There are always loud garden parties which are reported but no one is sent to disperse them or stop them happening again. Management is disgusting and doesn’t care.
Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear that you have not had an enjoyable experience during your stay. There were works programmed in for window replacements at the site, and all residents were updated with the planned works in advance of the project starting and management was made available in the site office throughout the entire project to ensure if any issues raised this was dealt with as quickly as possible to limit any impact on the residents, as well as providing a weekly update on the progress of the project. I am sorry to hear that you also had issues with dirt in your room after the contractor attended. All rooms were inspected prior to the contractor starting works with photos taken as well as after the completion of works to ensure there were no issues. If you found the room to be in an unsatisfactory state I would recomend that the team are informed so they may investigate and get this cleared as soon as possible. Coopers Court is an unmanned site and we encourage all residents to contact the front desk at Don Gratton House to report any issues. The desk is monitored 24 hours a day Monday - Friday 08:00 - 20:00 with security managing the desk out of hours. Any issues reported to us are investigated as soon as possible and support provided to assist with any concerns raised. There is a service to the flat, daily to remove rubbish and also once a week to dust and deep clean the kitchen and utilities. As set out in the contract it is up to the residents to maintain a clean kitchen and if there are ongoing cleanliness issues with residents then site will need to investigate and arrange a meeting with all residents in the flat to try resolve the issues.
Staff are friendly, and it's a good location but tbere definitely could be more done overall
Thank you for your review, We are happy to hear you found the location suitable and the staff friendly.
Probably one of the best student accommodations for Queen Mary University of London students.
Thank you for your review, we are happy to hear you are enjoying your stay with us
Good infrastructure, weak management.
Thank you for the review, and we hope you continue to enjoy your time with us.
The cleaning lady skaii was amazing. The property was well managed with repairs coming in a timely manner. However the bathroom was very subpar
Thank you for the review. We are happy to hear you have been happy with your experience with us on site, and enjoyed the facilities we have on offer. We are in the process of a refurbishment on B Block this year, and A Block for the following year, and look forward to having the residents enjoy the new facilities on offer.
Coopers court is at the ideal location, only 30 seconds walk from the tube station. However, the management could have been better. Oftentimes, I needed help but there was no one at the reception.
We thank you for staying with us here at Coopers Court, we are sorry to here that you weren't completely satisfied. We are always aiming to please our customers so we will pass your suggestion on to management.
