Highfield House Biography
Highfield House is ideally located as it is only a few minutes' walk from TU Dublin and many other colleges. Having quick and easy transport links on your doorstep allows you to commute to numerous universities and colleges in under thirty minutes. The accommodation is surrounded by all the amenities you need and is near the city centre where you can find plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.
You will be able to enjoy the many social spaces and social events Highfield House has to offer. There is a 5th-floor student lounge and roof terrace, cinema room, coffee dock, gaming pod, private gym and aerobics studio as well as private and group study hubs. To make your stay as convenient as possible there is also WiFi, bike storage and on-site laundry facilities. Sherpr and postage service and deliveries. To ensure you and your belongings are well looked after, there is on-site maintenance, a 24/7 on-site team, on-site maintenance team and CCTV.
You have a selection of ensuite rooms, ranging from Classic ground floor rooms to Premium top floor rooms to choose from. Highfield house is a lovely modern accomodation with plenty of social areas and a good balance between study and fun. There are weekly events planned out for students to ensure they make new friends and take well needed breaks from college . 10/10 would recommend :)
Dear Resident, Thank you for your lovely review. I am delighted to see such a high rating. Our property only opened in October 2020 so all of our facilities are top of the range. The building was designed with our students in mind and while we provide two study rooms we also recognise that forming friendships make up a huge part of your college experience, for this reason we have dedicated social spaces such as our residents lounge, rooftop terrace, cinema room, basketball court and Gym. In fact we have the largest gym in any student accommodation building in Ireland so there is never any shortage of space for our residents to relax, unwind and take a break from assignments. It is a nice student accommodation. If you study in UCD is not the best choice, but if you don't mind taking the bus it is a nice palese palese stay.

I have loved my year here at Highfield house as an Erasmus student. The room is very well laid out, and the common areas as well. The cleanliness either in the cinema room, the gym or in the resident lounge has been spot on. Moreover, the people working at Highfield House, whether it is Stephanie, Josipa, Martin or the RAs, are all adorable and always attentive to the residents' problems. I strongly advise you if you are looking for a student residence in Dublin to go to this one. You won't regret it!

The location is perfect, situated close enough to the city center to be on the main streets in 10 minutes, while being far out enough that there is not too much noise during the day or night. It is the perfect spot for completing my final year of studies! All of the staff are very friendly and helpful too, which is a great bonus. There are always lots of great events happening to take part in, giving everyone a chance to meet and make friends. The wifi works brilliantly, making it so much easier to attend my online classes and meetings. I would definitely recommend Highfield House!
Hi There , thank you so much for your great review. Our location really is great and so convenient for a wide variety of colleges such as TU Dublin, Trinity and RCSI. We are delighted you enjoy our superfast wifi. When choosing a wifi provider, we thought it was really important to have a good set-up in place for our students so have individual connections in bedrooms as well as throughout our common areas meaning there is no lags etc on virtual lectures. Not only was construction delayed, but it is still unfinished nearly 3 months after move-in. The management has been incredibly unhelpful, and have explained away COVID-19 violations. They have also been unhelpful in working with schedule changes due to the pandemic and other extraordinary circumstances which result in needing to alter lease agreements, which aren't even lease agreements and were describe as flexible when we signed up for them. There have also been myriad technical issues, from no hot water to a non-working hob, uncovered duct work, and uncontrollable/no/too much heating (to name a few).
Firstly, thank you for taking the time to provide us with valuable feedback in regard to your experience with us here at Highfield House. I will certainly share it with my team at our next meeting and ensure it is used as a basis for our continual improvement. I am sorry to hear you found us unhelpful, we are vailable to assist our residents and our property is staffed 24 hours per day. The Management are always available to discuss any concerns our residents have. We also employ resident assistants who are student residents with whom you could have spoken to at any of our weekly RA drop in events who would have liaised with management on your behalf should you have preferred. Nevertheless, please accept my sincere apologies. As a brand-new property under construction, we were faced with numerous challenges as a result of covid-19. Unfortunately, the Irish government closed construction sites throughout the country, whilst I completely appreciate the inconvenience this may have caused I hope you can understand that this was beyond our control and at all stages throughout the delays we communicated regularly with our prospective residents and did allow those who wished to cancel their tenancies because of the delays to do so. Rents were also adjusted for all tenants to reflect the later start date or alternative accomodation was arranged. We offer a covid-19 promise to our prospective residents, we also have a re-let procedure for those who do not meet the criteria set out in the terms and conditions that were provided to you prior to accepting the tenancy. For the upcoming academic year all tenancies can be terminated with 28 days notice. We take covid-19 very seriously at this property and in addition to temperature checks, check in slots, fogging the property with ozone aqueous solution, the provision of isolation apartments if required, we have on duty covid-19 compliance officers to whom you could report any issues. Sorry to hear about the maintenance issues you have experienced throughout your stay, I do hope our on-site 7 day per week maintenance team solved them to your satisfaction. It can be a little loud at night from a group of people smoking and I've watched the night porter walk straight past them at like 3am and not tell them to be a little more quiet or even ask them to check if they,re in the same household

The apartment is very modern and always kept extremely clean. It is a perfect location if you’re in the TU Grangegorman campus and is within walking distance of many grocery shops. My specific apartment is quite quiet but overall it is a great place to live and I highly recommend.
