I am a current first year and must say, freshers and following weeks are the best for hosting kitchen gatherings. But down to the nitty gritty- the cleaners are lovely, they clean the bathroom once a week and kitchens twice. The kitchen has no proper oven just a convection microwave one which can still do chicken nuggets and common student food. It’s 10 mins from the street, library,LCR and 15 into my main building queens (I’m health based). Its opposite the laundry in the medical centre (expensive £2.80 a wash and £2 dry that hardly dries so bring an airer) It’s also 10 mins from Tesco and the coop with subway in it. The room is nice, wardrobe bigger than expected and under bed is big. Desk chair is just a chair, I recommend a cushion and there is a lamp built under the shelves. The shower does it’s job but does leak into the bathroom so bring a mat and squidgy! Don’t bother bringing a loo brush or bin, they’re provided. Other than that; it’s great!
