I have never had any issue with connections, as well as having met many amazing people that will become lifelong friends. The cleanliness is exceptional with bins being done 3 x a week and a cleaner coming in once a week. Any issues reported are dealt with within usually a few days from when the issue was submitted and done to excellent standard. Could not have asked for a better accommodation to live in for my time at university.

Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.
I am currently living in Glaslyn while I am in my second year. I've got great flatmates and now I am good friends with them. We hang out in the flat and we go out for day trips sometimes. The staff who take out the recycling come in 3 times a week and the kitchen gets cleaned once a week.
Cannot say anything bad about the accommodation. 24/7 support. Fab wifi. All round great value for money.
The Accommodation at Prifysgol Bangor is like a particularly fancy Ibis Hotel. Not only is the building itself good, but when anything goes wrong, the maintenance staff are both incredibly efficient and very friendly. The only problem I can think of is a lack of communal printers.
A cleaner comes once everyweek to clean the kitchen and hallway and someone comes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday to take out the bins. This service is great and valued by students as it happens most weeks across the year with very few exceptions.
The perfect hall for returning students. It’s within walking distance to everything. Not too noisy at night. Safe and secure.

Halls is a great place to live! Everything is very accessible, with an on site shop, bar, common rooms, printers, security and parking, it's a very easy and stress-free environment to live in. Also if there are any problems regarding maintainence then these issues are dealt with very quickly! The wifi is also very fast, and there is a separate router available for students that enjoy online gaming.
