Murray Edwards has some really nice, modern accommodation (as well as some cheaper rooms in "old block") and a beautiful library. The gardens are particularly pretty, and the general atmosphere is very relaxed. The college also runs the "gateway programme" - a series of careers/ study skills talks. This is linked to their "internships initiative" where students get access to exclusive (usually paid) internships (and are almost guaranteed to get one). They have a generous travel grant system, which gives money to students hoping to do travelling, unpaid internships/ volunteering, or study abroad over the summer. However, the college is very expensive compared to others in Cambridge - with accommodation ranging between 3000-5200 GDP/ year (the cheapest being a shared, unrefurbished room in old block, the most expensive being modern ensuite accommodation or a double room). You do generally get holiday accommodation though, unalike other colleges.

Didn't stay in halls
We're catered but I would still like a decent-sized kitchen. Nowhere to socialise with others in corridor, and have hardly spoken to most of them. In general a good college atmosphere though. Food is slightly expensive and laundry is too, but that comes with going to a small college
fabulous college, would be better with bigger kitchens and/or dining areas within Peal House for first years.
