I’ve really enjoyed my time at DMU. The lecturers have been knowledgeable and supportive throughout my course, and there are plenty of resources available to help with studying. The campus is modern and everything is within walking distance, which makes student life much easier. Leicester is also a great city for students, with lots of places to eat, shop and relax. I’ve met some great people during my time here and overall it’s been a positive experience. I’d definitely recommend DMU to anyone considering studying here. read more

Lumis Student Living was an excellent accommodation choice during my time at university. The building was modern, clean, and well maintained, with facilities that created a comfortable and supportive environment for students. The staff were friendly, approachable, and always willing to help, making it easy to settle in and feel safe. Its location was also a major advantage for students attending De Montfort University (DMU). Lumis was within walking distance of campus, making it quick and convenient to get to lectures, the library, and other university facilities. It was also close to Leicester city centre, with easy access to supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, shops, and public transport, making day-to-day student life much more convenient. Overall, Lumis provided a safe, comfortable, and well-located place to live, making it an ideal accommodation for DMU students. read more

Honestly, this course is good for expanding your practice. I came in wanting to build on what I already knew, and it definitely delivered. It really pushed me out of my comfort zone and forced me to pick up totally new skills and technical processes that I hadn't even considered before. awful university wasted 4 years of my life here my dad passed away and the councilling services were fantastic but there is zero and i mean zero support within your classes personal tutors don’t ever speak to you or acknowledge your existence. I even had a submission accused of ai? i emailed them for months on it and when i would get my mark and suprise suprise they had just forgotten my work existed or just couldn’t be bothered to mark it. also the city sucks you might even get stabbed. read more
