Nicky Harding was an angel in disguise (and some really nice tutors such as: Sam, Georga, Harriet, Kate, Alex, Brian and Stuart) These people really have the heart in the right place. Easy to access staff support. Content of the course is adequate However there are some areas that I feel would be vital to do more of and that isn’t introduced very often. Around 10 hours of teaching a week which in my opinion could be a few more as that isn’t a lot for the price you pay a year. Other facilities like printing and binding is expensive and access at home to cad software should be provided but alot isn’t. read more

As a first year student at DMU I feel that Merlin Heights is the best option considering the price and the distance from the university, it also has very good facilites such as the Sky lounge to chill out and watch films and the games room being my favourite because of the pool table. The rooms and kitchens are perfect for a first year student too as they are nice and spacious and cosy with a nice modern touch. The staff are also very helpful and polite and make sure your questions are always answered. read more
